Investigator Anna Kireeva is successful in her career, but completely unhappy in her personal life. Her marriage of many years breaks down when she finds out that she cannot bear a child. The husband's mother tricks her son into getting a divorce because the family needs an heir. Against the backdrop of a family drama, Anna investigates the causes of a mysterious accident in which only a 7-month-old baby survived. Trying to find out if the girl's parents are alive, Anna does not notice how she herself becomes attached to her. |
