Penny's friends become obsessed with Makeup Boy, an online makeup influencer whose brash opinions on feminine beauty rub Penny the wrong way. To prove the point that influencers have no authority, Penny endeavors to become an influencer herself. As her popularity soars, however, Penny's celebrity goes to her head and she soon wields her clout selfishly and tyrannically. Scared of their friend, Penny's crew plot to take her down a notch before everyone and everything is canceled. |
