Noel and Sue are locked in a battle of wills to control their brood and their disagreements have Max and his 24/7 gaming at their centre. Younger brother Casper tries to entice Max into the garden, while Sue arranges for a fun half-term getaway, which goes disastrously wrong when Max plays his parents against each other and tricks Noel into believing he can stay at home.
