Details:

Yorkshire Vet Peter Wright is enjoying semiretirement and is now dedicating time to his passions and interests beyond veterinary work. The Donkey Sanctuary, for which he is an ambassador, is one of those passions. Today, he's visiting a holding base in east Yorkshire where two rescued donkeys, Donald and Alf, are hopefully about to be rehomed — as long as they can pass Peter's health check. In Southowram, Halifax, award-winning young farmer Stephen is hoping his Charolais ram is fit for purpose so that his fields can be filled with lambs come springtime. But before the new ram can be introduced to his flock, Stephen needs to deploy a teaser tup — a vasectomized ram — that will hopefully get his ewes in the mood and help things run more efficiently once the real McCoy arrives on the scene. In Ingleton in the Yorkshire Dales, Adam and Moira are up against it as they adapt to living off grid in one of the most remote areas in the county. They're now fulfilling a dream of leaving the rat race and embracing sustainable living. Today, they're preparing a new vegetable patch and trying their hand at lumberjacking for the very first time. And in Horsforth, west Yorkshire, Leeds-born chef Matt is on the cusp of realising his lifelong dream of opening his own restaurant in the town he grew up in. The project has been plagued by setbacks, but hopefully he's now days away from opening to the paying public. But first, he needs to trial his new menu, so friends and family are dropping in to do just that. And this honest bunch won't hold back if he hasn't got it right.
