1926: with the outbreak of war, Philip has obtained government aid to re-open Sennen Garth. Assisted by Alun Trevose , Philip sees the mine expand beyond expectations. After the war, demand for tin falls and the mine suffers critical setbacks. In 1926 Mark decides to close Sennen Garth. |
