Six years after the mysterious destruction of Tokyo, Masane Amaha returns to the city along with her daughter Rihoko in hopes of a better life and to avoid the NSWF who are trying to take Rihoko away from her. The NSWF quickly catches up with them and proceeds to separate the two. In an attempt to rescue her daughter, Masane finds herself in jail where she is attacked by a monster. She transforms awakening the Witchblade. |
