David is in a candle-lit cave under the Altar. Caroline, after weeks of waiting, goes to the cottage and tells Chris what Sabrina said about being a dangerous creature. She leaves and Chris makes plans to commit suicide with a gun, leaving a note. Carolyn hears a voice at the old house coming from behind the bookcase but Barnabas appears at the stairs and claims to be testing some electronics (in a house without electricity).
