Police 24/7 is a Flemish docusoap about the work of the local police of Antwerp. The series is produced by 100.000Volts.TV and is, in addition to children's hospital 24/7, a spin-off of the series made by the same production house Spoed 24/7. The series was filmed for three months in, among other things, the control room, the district commissions, the police cars and the various police teams. Use was made of both fixed cameras that were mounted in the various rooms, body cams and mobile camera crews. The recordings started in the autumn of 2016 and the series was broadcast in the spring of 2018 on television channel Eén. 100,000Volts.TV has the permission of responsible mayor Bart De Wever, chief of police Serge Muyters, the public prosecutor and the investigating judges. The Chief of Police has the final word for the series actually being broadcast; he will view all images in advance and nothing may appear without his permission. Police 24/7 comes about fifteen years after Life as it is: Police, another program in which the police of Antwerp were shown, and is the first television program about the Antwerp police since the latter
