BJ gives a ride to Pamela Gerard, a mental institution escapee. When BJ finds out about her, she tries to convlnce him that she was set up by some high-powered Brooklyn folk and charged with the murder of her reporter husband, Robert Gerard. Pamela is also accused of killing Althea Reeves, wife of Preston Reeves, who is said to have been Robert's mistress. Slowly BJ is convinced with Pamela's story and tries to help her. |
