The Predacons attempt to annihilate a colony of pre-humans to change the outcome of the future war between the Autobots and Decepticons. With no other Maximal around, Dinobot faces the whole Predacon army alone in battle. He tries to prevent them from changing history, even if it means sacrificing his life. This episode is widely considered to be one of the best episodes in Transformers history and the Region 1 DVD describes it as the "powerful series centerpiece". It is also considered to be the episode which catapulted Dinobot into the Transformers Hall of Fame in 2010.
