Blaketon asks Nick to keep an eye on Stevie Walsh, who has recently been released from prison after serving ten years for armed robbery. Stevie is the least of their troubles when a blizzard causes a train to crash, leaving many of its passengers injured and trapped, including Gina's brother, Ferrenby - and Stevie himself. As Nick rallies the locals on a rescue mission in the raging thunderstorm, Stevie elopes, and after discovering his wife is pregnant by another man, he goes looking for revenge, leaving Kate in the midst of a violent confrontation with the added pressure of delivering a baby. Elsewhere, Greengrass fears the worst when his beloved dog Alfred goes missing. |
