This was so much bleaker than the first installment and nowhere near as enjoyable, which was a tense ride but always stayed on the side of good action movie entertainment. Watching this one felt like I was just being pummeled over and over rather than entertained. I think the baddies and the political setup were a bit too realistic, I watch movies to escape the news, not the other way around
