Yeah, right? I actually read them, then watched anyway. I really don’t have the time to watch a movie anymore, but had the time for a change, and made a really good late dinner, and wanted to watch something while I ate, and this was there, and said why not? Comments were mixed, so I gave it a chance, and it was actually pretty decent. I really liked the young girl with the glasses, she was really underestimated by everybody, as well as very brave I thought. Kinda made the movie for me. Darn, now I think I need to ‘spoiler’ the comment. But still, your right, was a pretty decent installment for the series.
The “young girl with the glasses” is none-other-than 18 year old Mckenna Grace. She was brilliant as a young wife (Esther Keyes) in “The Handmaid’s Tale”. She is very talented and morphs to her roles. She’s tiny… only 5’ tall. She will be able to play teens for a very long time to come. She was also featured in the predecessor to this film (Afterlife).
