Bland? Sissy Spacek? Not at all; she’s got very defining facial features and huge, expressive eyes, combined with very light, freckled skin and strawberry blonde hair. She was perfect because she’s not bland; she has an extreme look that is unusual. Whereas Chloë Grace Moretz is a conventionally attractive blonde with all the earmarks of a “sex symbol”. Not so with Sissy, she has a very unusual, niche look, and for this film it is exaggerated. It was, and still is, a perfect resemblance to the character Stephen King wrote about in his book. ♥(ˆ⌣ˆԅ)
erm hello to be frank Sissy was picked for Carrie because of her blandness in the beginning of the film no make up no gimmicks just plain jane its only in the latter part of the film we saw her true beauty and then destroyed, that’s the part she had to play the daughter of the crazed bible basher mother even the clothes they picked for her were bland
