First thing. WTF happened to Helen Hunt’s face? CLEARLY she had surgery, but unfortunately for her, it has completely destroyed her already expressionless face. I couldn’t help but think about the boy in the movie “Mask” from 1985, with Cher and Eric Stoltz. For ANYBODY who remembers her from “Mad about you”, this is NOT her natural look. And unfortunately for me, it distracted me the whole movie. Per se, it’s not a bad movie, but it could’ve been better yet. Some scenes were too long, and the drone shots, annoyingly too abundant. It doesn’t feel natural, it feel impersonal. Unfortunately, one couldn’t relate to any of the characters, for they were all nasty people. The “twist” was OK, not shockingly surprising. For me, I would’ve liked for the chronology of the storytelling to be different. In all, OK for a one-time watch. IF you can get pass Helen’s deformed, I-paid-for-this-s**t, newly acquired mask of a face. THAT’S the shocking part in all of this. And by the way, this was NOT horror.
