Escape From Pretoria is an extremely well-acted drama with accents of thriller (it’s mainly intense moments peppered through-out a drama). The film is a complete success from beginning to end with it’s unique cinematography and professionally gifted acting. With this combination of winning elements, they were able to take a relatively dry source material and create an engaging and intriguing film. Daniel Radcliffe holds this film together; he is Tim Jenkin. Along with the superb efforts of the supporting cast members, protagonists and antagonists alike the film is seamless. I was glued to the screen from beginning to end. Highly recommended if you enjoy a slow thriller than is mostly intense physical and psychological moments. NOTE: There is a scene in French that does NOT have any HC subs. It is an fairly important scene, although brief enough. Hopefully someone will supply a HC copy for that scene.
