No, Scooby’s voice was created by Don Messick when it first aired in 1969. Welker has been the voice actor only since 2002.
Still, they could have hired Matthew Lillard for Shaggy. Also, Scooby talks too much in this one and is too easily understood. The pop culture and real life jokes and references are boring, and not at all funny. The plot is far too stupid and predictable to be interesting. I could go on.
Then again… I hate everything past the 2000s when it comes to Scooby-Doo. Especially that disgusting abomination that dares to call itself a cartoon, called “Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!”. That thing was an insult to the creators and if I ever stood in front of the degenerate moron that greenlit it for release, I’d punch the ever living snot out of them.
So I’m most certainly biased.
