Thomas Jane and Anne Heche are usually better than this! So much stupid sh!t…I blame the writers. The one thing that prompted the comment is this: you’re a grieving parent…you go snooping around some creep’s place…you turn on a VCR with a tape in it…got it. But the minute you see your missing daughter on the screen, you should have grabbed the tape and run like hell to the cops/fire-rescue that are set up right there on the campgrounds!!! And don’t get me going on how poorly Heche and James played the parents of a missing daughter!
The only redeeming feature is the ending but they (actors, director, writers, what-have-you) needed more throughout the film to really connect to the ending. At the end, I just felt tricked instead of being whoa’d. Watchable but frustratingly infuriating…2 of 5.
