My girl got me to watch this and ended up enjoying it. Thank God I never watched the cartoon because I remember the weird animation and cheesy wannabe Sailormoon transformations. She kept saying how she didn’t like the characters ethnicity changes but this much more grounded approach was good. What could go wrong seeing teen fairy school students doing magic, fighting evil and partying in between.
