This has been a work in progress since Snyder did Dawn of the Dead. It’s easy to poke fun at it being filled with zombie/infected cliches and the merging of the heist/action/zombie, but that’s exactly what Snyder intended. Whether you liked it or not, it’s worth checking out the Making-Of videos. Imagine the aggravation that was caused by having to replace Chris D’Elia with Tig Notaro with solo/CGI shots.
