Wow you guys have had some amazing sightings. The only thing I’ve seen was on approach to landing at JFK airport NY as a passenger in a 747. Flying very low over Rockaway on a sunny day back in the 1980’s, I looked out of the window and saw what I describe as a translucent energy sphere of maybe 5 feet in diameter. It was going at the same speed as the plane, though a bit behind us and following one of the streets just above the level of the telephone poles.It carried on this way for about 15 seconds when suddenly it took a sharp 90 degree turn down another street and continued on its way as we flew out of sight of it. I was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time, but I don’t know if anyone else saw it.
