I was the perfect age for pokemon when it was released. My parents even shilled out for my brother and i to have not only our own gameboy color, but to have all three of the originals: Pokemon Yellow, Red and Blue. They even bought us a strategy guide to use that gave us a lot to do. I just wish i didn’t have to grow up. I still love pokemon but with my adult brain that swims with the adult world of news and politics. It keeps me from enjoying simple things anymore. Why do we have to kill our inner childs when we grow up? Why cant we just be peaceful and happy
