I recommend other newcomers start on Season 4 and go from there. I was hesitant at first and didn’t know where to start after being a big fan of US Survivor. The differences between AU and US Survivor can take some getting used to.
AU Survivors play for 49 days and the episodes are 1 hour long. Because of that there can be a lot of filler and overproduction in the show. The bonus is that you see a lot more of camp life and see a lot more strategy & what they do for fun in the meantime. Don’t be afraid to skip ahead of parts you don’t care for, especially in the early eps. I think AU has more interesting challenges, although more physical & dangerous, and that the twists are better as well.
I had no idea AU Survivor was so good! Lots of great stories, personalities, and gameplay. The ozzies are alright. Finishing Season 6 now
