I agree it’s not the same, like that Blacklist niche’ is not quite there. But I don’t think it’s because of Boone. Even when she was there, rarely was it like the Blscklist that we feel in love with in the beginning seasons. Them constantly trying to make her relevant has- now become redundant and forced. Ray is the only one who should still be looking into her death
I’ve been feeling the same way. This show had so much promise when it first started, but I think it was the writers who kept screwing it up, and Megan Boone/Elizabeth got caught in the crossfire. The fact that the show has not improved since she left is proof it wasn’t all her/character. Everyone hung on this long watching because we knew there was something awesome in there somewhere. The whole ‘who’s Reddington’ debacle went on much longer than it ever should have, as they tried to milk that storyline for all it was worth. Just such a shame.
