I’m a bit conflicted on this one. On the surface, it’s just yet another Russian Femme Fatale Spy story, which we’ve seen a dozen times. Although the stunt/fight work is decent, and decent music/post editing, some of the acting, plot, and production value seems to be lacking. By the time you’ve given it a few episodes to warm up however, you’re invested and end up watching the rest.
Lead actress improves over time, but /most/ of the supporting cast does not. A few nice plot twists to keep you engaged and looking forward to seeing what they do in further seasons, if it is renewed.
Worth a binge watch if you’re running out of things to watch before new season begins on other shows.
no it’s too bad
