Atmospheric, spooky Estonian Soviet era sci-fi/mystery film based on a story by the Strugatskiy Brothers and with the same vibe as Stalker (also based on a story by the brothers) and out of the dozens of Eastern Bloc/Soviet era scifi films this is one of the best. The electronic soundtrack music by Estonian artist Sven Grunberg really adds to the strange atmosphere and I well recommend checking out his late 70s/early 80s recordings if you grok electronic sound.
Unfortunately there are no subtitles for any of the links but there are English subtitles available if you do a search for ‘Hukkunud Alpinisti’ hotell on the usual subtitle sites.

corona virus movie. one actor. seeing more of such. 2 to 4 actors in whole flick

Decent flick about a band of wannabe christian-metal rock stars and their road trip adventure trying to hit it big. Some light spoofage of the genre and thankfully, almost no preachy faith based propaganda. Good acting, music ain’t too awful either.

After trial and error with a few Streams I didn’t want to mess with download/upload for multiple episodes, but found an alternative. Excellent doc on the importance of fungi and beneficial mushrooms now and through history. Some really great time lapse footage too.

is there another movie like this one already out? I’m about to watch it but i feel i already have…am i getting it mixed up?

This had the makings for an excellent horror but…
The actors and crew seemed to do a fine job but it felt like the writer/director should have taken a back seat and let someone with more talent and experience polish the script and run the main show.
The actors seemed pushed to overdo their characters, their responses and interactions often unnatural (again, I don’t think the fault of the actors). The story itself lacked a flow and a better balance between the too-short action scenes and their buildups. I wanted to rate it about average (it was almost a good flick) but can’t give it more than maybe a 4.6/10

The 1st ep’s been more drama than comedy though Walken has a few good lines scattered in there. Didn’t seem interesting enough to keep watching—felt like I’d seen it all before (and done better) on other shows.

This gets pretty fun after you make it thru the bad acting in the beginning. Even if you don’t watch the whole thing ya gotta catch the Google comment at 55:00.

Not bad, not bad. Some good laughs now and again. I’m on ep 2, looks to be a continuing story line. Uncensored.

Made it thru ep 1, was pretty slow and dull. Post and let us know if it gets any better. So far it’s mostly in English.

Pretty good flick. Almost forgot about it and let it slip by. 6.3/10 (Grrl power, y’all!)
More of a drama than an action/thriller. Could have used a bit more excitement but still good.

Typical, overdone, cliche and stereotype riddled teenie drama for the first half hour or so. I almost quit watching all through the painful-to-watch beginning…then the fun started. Waiting for ep 2!

Agreed. Don’t see how this got this far. Tried watching the first one, couldn’t stomach it. Some movies just shouldn’t be made, but that’s just my opinion. Thought this was just plain nasty….

A well made indy low-budget flick, kept my interest all through it but the writing/story really needed work. A bad non-ending too, like it was missing the last 10 minutes or so. The final line was ‘What, wait. What?’ and that was exactly how I felt when the film just…stopped. 5/10

Not a movie. Looks like someone recorded a film’s rehearsal or a community college stage play, done indoors.

The 1st season was good, let’s see if s2 is too.

I managed to make it through the whole 1st ep—was OK, mindless entertainment if you didn’t care about the sloppily done science, drama, etc.
I don’t really expect much more from NBC, CBS and that whole lot anymore—and that’s what we get here.
Would be a good fit for the scifi channel if it had added a little humor and didn’t take itself so damned seriously.

B Willis’s first time starring in a show. Same ol’ Bruce though, with fewer wrinkles and a little hair.
