This documentary was made by a self avowed socialist. So it’s a very very biased documentary.

Every character in this show is a scumbag. Even the ones you like. They cheat, they lie, they steal, they murder, the assault. They’re bad people with horrible morals.
This was good but they left out the story about the member that was found drugged and naked walking through the desert.
A classic body style with better performance, braking and handling plus the bonus of polluting less. I don’t see the downside.
I HATED the end of this. The guy scams billions and gets zero jail time.
The 1988 version with Jeff Daniels and Eric Bogosian was FAR better. Better acting and the meltdown was more dramatic. Do yourself a favor and watch that one instead: https://www.primewire.tf/movie/211219-the-caine-mutiny-court-martial
Five stars. Makes me want to go back and read all his books again.
No humor or heart to be seen here. It felt like a bad Adam Sandler movie from the late 90s where he was the lovable loser then… but this movie doesn’t have anywhere to go and everyone has to act down to the stars level which makes the whole thing feel really cheap.
Except that Pete Davidson and his friends aren’t “lovable.” They’re just losers. I could care less about them.
Asking Nikki Glaser if she’s afraid of being canceled is like asking an Eskimo if they’re afraid of sunburns.
I’ve seen enough sci-fi movies to know one thing… never trust a cyborg.
My prediction is that this is all a scam. Billy is faking everything so he can write a book about it. Fiona isn’t really dead. She’s just an actress playing a part.
I’m not sure why you choose to believe Moses over what everyone else in that family is saying. I think Moses loved the attention Woody gave him and that’s the main reason he’s defending him. Even if nothing of what Dylan said happened, there are still so many witness accounts of his very strange and obsessive behaviour when it comes to her alone. And even if Mia “coached” her, Dylan is not a child anymore and by now she would cave in and say something about being coached.
Because they were brainwashed by a mentally ill, abusive mother who locked a paraplegic in a shed overnight. And the other nanny that was there said the lap incident didn’t happen.
“When Monica, our long-term nanny who was out that day, returned to work the next day, I confided to her that I thought the story was made up. Monica, who had been with us for six years, would quit her job a few months later, saying that Mia was pressuring her to take her side and support the accusation.
It was Monica who later testified that she saw Mia taping Dylan describe how Woody had supposedly touched her in the attic, saying it took Mia two or three days to make the recording. In her testimony she said, “I recall Ms. Farrow saying to Dylan at that time, ‘Dylan, what did daddy do… and what did he do next?’ Dylan appeared not to be interested, and Ms. Farrow would stop taping for a while and then continue.” I can vouch for this, having witnessed some of this process myself. When another one of Dylan’s therapists, Dr. Nancy Schultz, criticized the making of the video, and questioned the legitimacy of the content, she too, was fired immediately by Mia. (My mother, for whom ‘loyalt’ was hugely important, would also fire another long-term caretaker, Mavis, claiming that she was making statements against her.)”
…
So, Scher and Scholz talk about the idea, and agree on a design…
Scher then tells her illustrator what the design idea is, and he sketches it out with her over his shoulder as she tells him what to do/not do, giving direction as head of a vcreative department working on that month’s big project, making certain that Roger doesn’t get wrong what Scholz and Scher talked about…
Scher then gets credit for filling out -by designing- the idea Scholz had on the album, -on the album-…
Hussyen gets credit for illustrating the idea Scholz had that then was designed and relayed to him by his boss at the time, on that same album, where he’s credited -not as designer- but as illustrator…
But for you to believe otherwise, it’s more than a feeling?
Cool.
A concept inside someone’s head isn’t a design, Einstein. In the documentary she said her idea got rejected by Scholz.
Everyone in this documentary is so dumb, my IQ dropped 20 points just from listening to them.
You mean he wasn’t??
gasps and drops the glitter in her hand to the floor in shock
Had to turn this movie off after 5 minutes. First they have Chevalier get into a violin competition with Mozart (which never happened), and they have Chevalier play blues music (which wasn’t invented for another 125 years). It’s just too dumb to stomach.
it DOES NOT EXCUSE YOUR COMMENT
Did you even watch the documentary? They talk about it in the movie.
This had so much potential, the subject matter is incredibly interesting. But what we get is a Republican hit piece. The first episode was okay until the final third turned into a Trump hit-piece. Which isn’t unusual in this day and age, but is out of place here. Then the entire second episode is basically a condemnation of the younger Bush. Had they simply concentrated on the factual aspects, this could have been enjoyable.
Bottom line, if you hate conservatives, watch this. If you’re looking for what the description of the series says, don’t waste your time.
It’s not even a republican hit piece. It’s just millennial economic conspiracy theories.
So Angelina Jolie is a monster for adopting as many kids as she has? WTF…since when is wanting to adopt kids who have no home or any kind of future a bad thing? And, no, being with married men can in no way, shape or form compare to being a pedophile!
Yep. She clearly has mental issues. And any woman who gets pregnant by a married man has bad morals.
Yeah, OK. Guess who was Art Director at CBS Records in 1976? She wasn’t ‘only doing’ typography. She was in control of the show and she didn’t get to the point of control of designs there by -not- designing things. Dude.
Guess who worked for CBS Records in 1976 as a sketch monkey? Take your time. It’s a tough one.
But nice to see you move from ‘Roger illustrated it, not her’ which is such a strange red herring [no, really? just like it says in the cover credits? where she -only- designed the infernal thing [boston agrees! ON THE COVER! [scholz the one who -wanted- ‘guitar spaceships’]]], to ‘Roger did everything [design, illustration, idea], but design the typography’.
Creepy. And now I know way too much about a yacht rock album.
Gross on so many levels.
Art Directing isn’t designing, Einstein. Roger Huyssen has his preliminary sketches online. You can clearly see the entire layout was his design.
I give it three stars because Sacha Baron Cohen isn’t the right actor to play Abbie Hoffman. Hoffman was 5’8” and much less brooding. He was a fun and jester like guy who was always laughing at the cosmic joke in everything. Sacha Baron Cohen didn’t capture Abbie’s character at all.
Understand just fine that something’s sadly awry regarding some ppl’s understanding of design, of work on design, of credit for design [quotes, logistics, and all]; just DSM-V sickly ‘off’ concerning the fact that 2+2 [design] even when in the mind, is still 4 [design]; still—
Take it up with either Scher, Huyssen, or both. Scher even teaches this stuff, and they’re -both- professionals [of rather different degree by now], so likely won’t mock an ailing person in fits of dismayed pity on a public forum for any mental inadequacy. They are themselves ‘safe spaces’.
Good luck!
Seriously, what is your problem. I proved you wrong four times. The facts are the facts. Just admit you’re wrong and get on with you life.
Now it’s the 2020s and we have to listen to “white” music to hear a live drummer.
Yeah, her original idea. They then worked on a new one, which she still hates, and despite its success, which she doesn’t rest upon the laurels of, being an actual Einstein-type genius concerning things like typography and -graphic design-. Roger, tho…
Designs [in the mind] aren’t designs, huh.
Alrighty, then.
Maybe contact Scher directly for clarification. Even an intern could prolly set ya straight.

Dude, I’ve proved your wrong four times. Let it go. The sketches are online for everyone to see. They’re his, not hers. Why are you so stubborn? Just admit you’re wrong.
copy and pasting this quote doesn’t change what you said and really has nothing to do with it. You said something derogatory and your response is “Elon Musk is on the spectrum” like he quantifies something. When someone says something racist, replying with “but I have a Black friend” does not mean the original statement was not racist. Your original comment was out of pocket.
Yes it does. Watch the documentary. Two of the main speakers in the movie, Elon Musk and Nick Bostrom, have talked publicly about their autism.
The Boston cover is dumb.
I am still mystified by how something
like that really resonates in culture.
I mean, it predated Star Wars.
So we must have hit a zeitgeist
that was about to happen.
But when I die, it will say,
“Designed the Boston cover,”
and I’ve lived
with this horror ever since,
and I think it may wind up being true.

Huyssen’s aware who designed it; Scher’s aware who illustrated it.
She takes credit for it in this video. She doesn’t even mention Huyssen.
But why, though? Why can they not co-exist and a person who likes one be allowed to in peace?
Because people were sick of the corporate crap the record companies and radio stations were trying to shove down their throats. They wanted loud screaming rock’n’roll guitar solos, not the Bee Gees singing in falsetto and wearing spandex.
Disco Demolition Night was an importand cultural event. Because of that night, the Who put out Long Live Rock, AC-DC put out Rock and Roll Ain’t Noise Pollution, Billy Joel put out It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me, and Joan Jett put out I Love Rock’n’Roll. Watch the video for Rock This Town by the Stray Cats. They have a girl beat up a guy dressed in disco clothes. LOL!
