Haunt (2019)

Hey Livy, 17MM is not that low of a budget, especially when you have Eli Roth directing. Just sayin. :) Whenever you have real people working a haunted house it’s always scarier. This movie gets your attention and has the right about everything to the very end. Thoroughly enjoyed this one. 4/5

The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson (2019)
yellow_rose1 7 points 4 years ago.

this must be a real insult to the families of the murder victims after all O.J was found guilty in civil court not long after the criminal case. This is pure fantasy there is nothing “true” about this film except for some of the characters names

onetoughcrowd -1 points 4 years ago.

Yellow, if you were not there and/or personally know all of these people??? Then it’s utterly impossible for you to say that this is pure fantasy. You don’t know… I don’t know. This goes for everyone else here who has an opinion, because that is ALL it is. What we think is irrelevant, so seriously, STOP stating anything you say as fact.

Coherence (2014)
onetoughcrowd -2 points 3 years ago.

As for these great reviews below, I must have missed something because for me, personally, there was way too much yapping and most at the same time, talking over each other.. if it was only sometimes, that’s one thing. But, it was constant, so it became annoying to me. As for action, I don’t feel there was any. I will admit to fast forwarding large chunks at a time because it felt bored. Then again can perhaps I inadvertently fast forwarded the awesome parts! Anyway, that’s the best take on the parts I did see. 2/5 - because the actors weren’t bad at all.

Sad, gruesome, and shocking made this a hard watch for me. Stellar cast and performances. 3.5/5

Spiral (2021)

I found it very angry and depressing from beginning to end. It did not leave me feeling good the way you do when you feel a certain satisfaction that you saw a good movie. I wish I hadn’t seen it.

Saving My Daughter (2021)

AWFUL. In part everyone needs to know that Lifetime movies are done in very few takes, and that alone speaks in volumes.

Regression (2015)

Kinda fell flat, monotone, lacking excitement. 1.5/5

Blind (2020)

I’m very sorry because I tried to like it. Please know that I forever and always appreciate these uploads! However, Im still going to give you my honest review, whether it’s really good or really bad. My rating on this is thumbs down. The lead was not a terrible actor. But the others were atrocious. What would have been helpful? A better or even decent script, a Director who knows how to, and actors who are even the least bit believable. Lame snooze fest not worth a one time watch - unless you fast forward it like I did.

We Need to Do Something (2021)

Yes, you need to do something, and that something is to not regret time that you cannot get back. In other words, find something else!
However, if you don’t care how something ends, and you enjoy watching and hearing the most unspeakable, then this move is just for you.

The Perfect Wedding (2021)

Gave it as much time as possible until I could give it no more. There’s some okay and decent acting and then some just too painful to continue with…

I’m going to try one more eps before I bail. But I am wondering is it purposely suppose to be this facetious; is this suppose to be a comedy horror??? I really don’t know what to make of this😕

Thank you for this. You’ve saved me wasting time watching. /:

Mean Man: The Story of Chris Holmes (2021)
onetoughcrowd 0 points 3 years ago.

Really brings me back to the 80’s. Three of some of my all time favorite songs back then: Wild Child, I Wanna Be Somebody, and Blind I’m Texas. I was also a L’Amour Capitol of Brooklyn and L’Amour East waitress, so this music was a huge part of my life for a long time. Very interesting documentary. Best of luck to Chris Holmes!

Let Him Go (2020)
onetoughcrowd -1 points 3 years ago.

This one will pull you in from the very start and keep you right there straight through to it’s bittersweet end. Any movie Diane Lane is in, I’ll watch without needing to know what it’s about. However, if you’re on the sensitive side, you may want to watch a comedy after, which is what I’m now about to do. 3.5/5

The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) (2012)
Jhigh03 3 points 3 years ago.

How can you make such a claim until you watch number 3. You must finish off the trilogy.

Ummm.. If I couldn’t even make it past finishing the 1st one, umm… hello?

Eighth Grade (2018)

Excellent movie! Raw, truthful, and stellar acting! An important watch too!!

Never Hike Alone (2017)

Not bad! Even had a few jumps! The only thing that almost lost me was a female actress in the end. It was scariest thing about the movie. ;)

I know, riiiight??!! PSA - PART II
As a HUGE horror fan, the disturbing images from this particular movie only, haunt me until this day. Not a fun way to remember any movie no matter how many years go by, unless you enjoy cringing with knots in your stomach at the mere mention of its name or glimpse of the movie cover. No other horror movie has affected me in this way. But hey, if nothing affects you, or you have no emotional or moral compass, empathy, or compassion, then as a different type of horror fan, you will love it! For me, there is someone about going just a little TOO far in terms of scare tactics.

Evil Lives Here (2016) S9 E4
onetoughcrowd -3 points 3 years ago.

I now it’s a terrible story, but… and now I don’t mean to “sound” evil myself, but some of the dialogue, the dialogue and descriptions of events, sounded ridiculous and in the most darkest of humor types of ways, a bit on the comical. It was as also if, the victim herself was a terrible actor, reading every word robotically and monotone from a terribly poorly written script. Whoever does see this, I’d be interested ok your take and viewpoint. I did have to cut it short, not only because what happened was so horrific, but because it was actually more painful to listen to this women tell it.
