Don’t know why they keep going with some of these sites like Onlystream and Streamplay. They’re always dead in the water for me, don’t even know why I try anymore! Mixdrop seems to be the only really reliable one these days, and maybe Vevio. When I first started coming to this site 10 or so years ago, almost every single link was always reliable. Starting to miss those days!

This is a story of one man and his sled dog’s quest to find a McDonald’s drive-thru in the 1925 Alaskan tundra. He was a man ahead of his time.

Always liked this one, but have to say, I love the soundtrack even more!! My friends and I were all about it when we were teens when it came out! Lots of awesome collaborations from heavy metal and alternative/grunge bands of the early 90’s coupled with a rapper or rap group. Slayer and Ice-T, Faith No More and Boo Yaa Tribe, Helmet and House of Pain, Pearl Jam and Cypress Hill…gotta say, the soundtrack is probably definitely better than the film, and the film is pretty damned cool, imho…

The F**king Mask (Short 2019) (2019)
WeirdMonkey 0 points 4 years ago.

Seriously? Not quite sure what they were trying to accomplish with this, like they were trying to take The Mask and make it “gritty”, but tries to keep some sort of comic element at the same time. The result is pretty shameless…lol…I mean, the whole chick dying of cancer so she puts the mask on thing is just simply done in poor taste. The acting is dreadful too. I’m sure they had fun making it. That’s the most positive thing I think I can say. Lol

10 Minutes Gone (2019)
WeirdMonkey -1 points 4 years ago*.

After seeing this, I believe the title is a double entendre that also refers to Bruce Willis’s screen time in this film. Ten minutes, and he’s gone! I give it 5 out of 10 phone-ins.

Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? (2019)
WeirdMonkey 1 points 4 years ago.

I like the fact that throughout all these years, no matter how many new movies or reiterations of this show that they do, they never try to update the characters’ fashion or clothing style! :) They don’t try to “hip ‘em up” for modern times, or try to reimagine them in any way, which they do for nearly everything that’s either a reboot or remake these days. Don’t really watch Scooby anymore, but I find it admirable in these times when most want to manipulate old brands to the point they’re almost unrecognizable! Kudos to them for keeping it real.

Been waiting so long for a DVD quality version of this, but no one wants to come through. Close to the DVD release, but not even a TS version. Every other movie with a similar release date has a DVD quality version by now. Sorry. Just a little irritated as to why some movies take SOOOO much longer than others…why is it always the ones I want to watch have to be slower than the tortoise trying to suck his own cock? Just curious…

Mirrors 2 (2010)
WeirdMonkey 1 points 4 years ago*.

This has a slightly different feel than the first. The writers did make a subtle, yet significant change to how the main character experiences the mirrors. Not going to say how exactly, but if you know the first movie, you should realize it at some point. That being said, it’s definitely better than the IMDb score of 4.9. Especially for something straight to DVD. That also being said, on a personal note, when I originally saw the first one when it first came out, I instantly thought when it was over that the 2nd movie should have been about Kiefer Sutherland trying to figure out how to get out of the “mirror world”, battling entities and whatever other weirdness he had to to get back to his family, trying to make contact with his wife and children in various ways in order to get back. It’s almost like they set it up like that, but didn’t have the numbers from the initial release of the first one to theaters, nor the cash flow to make it happen. Probably wasn’t enough interest from the studio and others (including Sutherland) to make it happen. Shame. Although this flick is a pretty good watch, I feel the second film in the series deserved something a bit better than this, even if it wasn’t exactly what I suggested before. I will at least mention however that Nick Stahl’s pretty good as the lead. I liked him in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, as well as the first Sin City, and he did a solid job in this too. I’ll give it a 6 out of 10, because even though the storyline seems a bit rushed at times, for what it is, it’s a decent effort, and worth the watch if you liked the first one. At least that’s my two cents, anyways!

Yeah, this version isn’t very good either. I’ve seen better TS versions before, that’s for sure. There’s a tracer going on that’s pretty distracting, and the audio is too hollow sounding to be fully understood 100% of the time. Probably better to wait for a better version, in my opinion…

Since they decided to jip everyone out of any hope for more seasons, they should have went ahead and posted all 10 episodes at once. Saturday Night Live (1975)
WeirdMonkey -2 points 5 years ago*.

This show could regain its former glory right now if they would just fire Colin Jost and Michael Che. Worst SNL head writers ever….been watching non-stop since 1988, been there through thick and thin, even when everyone was always dogging on any given new cast that came along!! This is different. This is truly terrible. I realize now that the only reason this show has been allowed to endure for so long, is not because it is what it is, but only because it’s on so late at night. I’m not putting the blame solely on Jost and Che, everyone’s at fault here, but, c’mon, did you actually SEE the “Louisiana Liberal” sketch at the beginning of season 44?? ANYONE who actually thought that was funny enough to be viewed by a living soul deserves to have all confidence in them removed forthwith!! A group of so-called “educated” people sat around a table and decided that would be funny enough for you. The American public should be insulted that they expect us to laugh. Come back to me SNL, I miss you.

Classic comedy!! I recommend watching the theatrical version of this movie first if you’ve never seen it before. This is the 2-hr extended cut. It’s great too, but as a first time experience, the 90-minute version is probably the better way to go, imo. It’d be nice if both versions were up on here and the distinction was made though. Thirty minutes worth of extra scenes could definitely alter a person’s first impression of a film. Especially this movie, because it has a completely different opening scene.

disapointing season 2 they had so much potential going out of season 1 and they didnt improve at all it isnt as funny or well writen as season 1 and way less creative especialy the planets we visited in s1 were some of the most creative parts now its a sop opera in space that takes place mostly on the ship

WeirdMonkey 0 points 5 years ago*.

There’s hardly any actual “sci-fi” at all in this season, and that sucks, because I LOVED the first season, and had very high hopes for this one! I feel really let down with season 2 so far. They’re almost completely focusing on the interpersonal relationships of the crew and their extended families and such. I’ve been lately referring to it as, “The Love Boat in Space”. I’ve shut the last two episodes off early in, because I’m getting sick of the writers doing that. It’s such a cop out. It’s like they didn’t have any good sci-fi ideas coming into this season, so they fell back on common, drama-romance type writing with simply a sci-fi setting. I thought the idea of the doctor falling for the Tin Man was pretty damned ridiculous, if you ask me. Not to mention derivative of the Star Trek TNG episode where Data tries to be in a relationship with a female crew member (which is one of the most awkward TNG episodes ever). I was disappointed to find out in the next episode, they’re actually going to keep their relationship going on the show. Which to me is almost dumb enough to make want to stop watching all together already. If I wanted to watch a show about relationships, I’d be watching garbage like “This Is Us”, you know what I mean!?

Sin City (2005)
WeirdMonkey 2 points 5 years ago*.

Be warned, this is the extended re-cut version of the movie, not the theatrical version, This one in the links above is actually quite different from the theatrical version. Completely different way of telling the story, to tell the truth. Personally, I like the theatrical version better, it makes more sense. This one’s alright, but the flow is something else entirely mostly due to the fact they broke up the stories so you could individually select them on the DVD.

Run Ronnie Run (2002)
WeirdMonkey 1 points 5 years ago*.

Can’t say enough awesome things about this movie. It’s from the often unheralded classic HBO sketch comedy series Mr. Show with Bob Odenkirk (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) and David Cross (Arrested Development and The Chipmunk movies). This movie is based on a sketch they did about the character, Ronnie Dobbs. They did a total of about 3 sketches in the 4 season run of the show, and all the elements are included in the movie. Bob and David themselves said the film did not stack up to their own expectations, but it’s become quite the cult classic amongst Mr. Show fans, because it really is funny as hell!! Lots of cool cameo appearances. The pool party scene alone is worth waiting for just to see who pops up! Give this movie a go if you’re into absurdity on a Python-esque type of scale, but with a redneck/Hollywood touch…and if you’ve seen Mr. Show, but never this movie, you’re in for a treat! :)

I agree totally. Ive been watching sense I was a kid when he started. Im not dogging this new formant. His Podcast is great. Though, if this format was maybe even 10 mins longer on a streaming format I could see it being more enjoyable. When this was Over I felt like I was robbed/missed something. Left wanting more for sure.

WeirdMonkey 1 points 5 years ago*.

I’ve been a loyal fan since 1993 myself! I’m actually hoping they do some shows regularly without a guest at all, and just focus on the comedy. If they did that, that might make up for some of it. I don’t know, maybe we’ll get lucky! Gonna really miss Jimmy Vivino and the rest of the band too. Especially Pender and Labamba. They did a lot of bits with the band that I’ll miss seeing too. At least Richter still has a job. Lol

Conan (2010) S2019 E1
WeirdMonkey 1 points 5 years ago*.

4 minute monologue, 4 minute comedy bit, then 13 minutes with a guest I probably won’t care about most of the time. I’m going to miss the old format, personally. I seem to be the only one who feels that way though when I read comments about the change. With the old show, I knew I’d get at least a good solid 22 minutes of comedy every time, even if I didn’t like any of the guests. I’ll still watch the new show for the first 8 minutes though, it just sucks that there’s less show now. At least Conan’s starting his online archive of every one of his old episodes from NBC and TBS. There’s gonna be so much stuff on there, it’ll be virtually impossible to ever get through all of them. We’re talking literally almost 4000 episodes.

Hiding Out (1987)
WeirdMonkey 1 points 5 years ago*.

My how times have changed…Jon Cryer’s character is supposed to be around 26-28, and his romantic interest is a 16 year old. Literally. The actress who plays the romantic interest is actually 16 at the time of filming. I used to watch this movie quite a bit as a kid in the 80’s, and never even thought of it as odd. Until now. Now it’s quite a protruding distraction from an otherwise decent 80’s flick. Probably the best of any of the 80’s flicks that featured Cryer as a lead. Can you imagine if they tried to release a movie like that these days that had a very casual storyline about a 28 year man pretending to be a high schooler, and seducing a 16 year old girl? These days, we call that show, “To Catch A Predator”, right?

Two former star trek doctors in the same episode, robert picardo, doctor on voyager and john billingsly/doctor flox from enterprise. I hope its not a permanent thing as well, not only is she a good character, she is also quite lovely.

WeirdMonkey 1 points 5 years ago.

Holy schneike! You are correct sir!! Was never too familiar with Enterprise, that’s why I didn’t recognize him. Macfarlane’s definitely throwing out the Trek love. Lol

The Orville (2017) S2 E3
WeirdMonkey 1 points 5 years ago*.

It was really cool seeing Robert Picardo from Star Trek: Voyager playing a role in this episode, and he did a wonderful job to boot!! Makes me hopeful for more Star Trek cameos on this show in the future, seeing as how Seth Macfarlane is a huge Trekkie. Wouldn’t surprise me if he made more of that happen. Hell, not only does Patrick Stewart voice Avery Bullock in American Dad, but the entire cast of The Next Generation did make a guest appearance on Family Guy as themselves that one time, so I know they’d be game for it! I’ll be watching…

WeirdMonkey 1 points 5 years ago*.

I really don’t think it will be. I like to look up info about this sort of thing on iMDB, and it lists her as a cast member for every episode throughout the rest of this season. I thought maybe the new security dude, Lt. Tharl (played by Patrick Warburton - voice of Joe Swanson on Family Guy), would be taking her place, but he’s only listed for being in this one episode, and no more. Again, I really don’t think this is the last we’ll see of Alara. iMDB is usually pretty accurate about this kind of thing.

Terror Squad (1988)
WeirdMonkey 1 points 5 years ago.

This movie was filmed in my hometown, Kokomo, Indiana!! Still live here. This movie is legendary around here, not just because it was filmed here and was a HUGE deal when it happened, but because of just how unbelievably BAD it is! Lol…so many obvious mistakes and errors, largely from a continuity error standpoint. The whole fiasco with the bus scene at the end is so poorly done, it has to be seen to be believed. Literally tried to use a regular sized school bus in one scene, thenn in the next, it’s all of a sudden a short bus? Then long, then short, then finally long again?? That alone is worth a watch just for the laugh, and there’s plenty else to behold! I suggest giving this movie a go if you’re one of those kinds of people who get a laugh out of really terribly done movies that were trying to be completely serious, but also completely missed the mark! I even saw one of the stunts being filmed for this when I was 9. Involved a newspaper stand being blown up by “the terrorists”, and the attendant being blown out of it. Remember they used a mechanical springboard to launch him out of it onto a mat. On an even funnier sidenote, several years back, I contacted the director of this film, Peter Maris, and he was kind enough to respond to me personally when I asked him if he’d ever consider a DVD release of this. While he said there wasn’t enough of a demand to do a wide-scale release, he did say he would totally do up a minimum of a hundred just for me to do with whatever I saw fit! Unfortunately, I couldn’t find enough people to help me make that happen, but it does make for a good story! Lol

Excellent series that never should have been cancelled after just one season. So glad you guys have it on here, even if episodes 3, 5, and 8 are missing Openload links. This is one of those shows that even though it only lasted one season, still needs to somehow be seen just to serve as an example of how truly clueless network decision makers can be. Man did they ever miss the mark when they turned their backs on this one!
