yellow_rose1 2 points 1 month ago. (Contains Spoilers)

wow this episode was really hard to watch. I think June is a complete narcosis. I used to make excuses for her but now I am so angry with her I will never give her another chance to redeem herself, after all she clearly doesn’t want to. Alana I am so sorry that your Mom did this to you. I wouldn’t doubt if she isn’t even completely clean at this point

Completely forgot about this show - haven’t seen many episodes, to be honest. Because of your comment I just watched the Pilot - excellent. Love the timing. Think I have found my new comfort show to watch….

I’m very happy to hear that I helped you out today. Have a fine Sunday

Married... with Children (1987)

Hands down the best sitcom and most realistic of all that came out of the 80’s. We used to compare my Dad to Al Bundy as he owned a shoe store while I was growing up. Awe those were the days, when a t.v. show would have me actually laughing.

Then wait I highly recommend. JG tries as he might to carry this albatross, but it sinks at the half way mark, never to resurface at all. Combine that with comical, and awkward walking (what the heck? Are his legs broken??) Conor McGregor and you’ve got a complete flop, I’m really sorry to state. We love JG; he is innovative in his approach, but here he seems focused on a made for telly, underrated, and completely insipid approach. {{{{sigh}}}}

oh dear this sounds like when someone our age watches this version it brings on feelings of disappointment and regret. Thanks for the warning. I will enter with caution lol. I was disappointed with his recent movie called The Guilty. I thought it was going to be really good. Up until then I’ve like everything else he has done. This was one of my favorites of his for sure. https://www.primewire.tf/movie/532318-prisoners

The 'Burbs (1989)

great movie. It was wonderful to see Carrie Fisher in a role where she is so young and beautiful. As always Hanks and Bruce Dern were really great in their roles. I haven’t watched this since it was released on video, therefore it was all new to me. I really enjoyed that. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I watched the trailer and the actors in the remake talking about them making the film, honestly I love Jake but it just makes me want to watch the original film again. I’m sure I’ll watch this one day because Jake is in it. I’m very nostalgic and love reminiscing of old times. Le Bel age babe

22 minutes in and I am heartbroken for this lady. Trauma is so destructive when it’s not delt with in the right ways. I used to eat myself into a food drunk. I was never like that until I spent 10 years in a very horrible relationship. Now when I’m upset I exercise. The endorphin rush from that is some much more satisfying. Years ago I thought if I gain a bunch of weight no one will want me. Then I lost the weight and took my power back. I don’t’ ever want to be in another relationship and I don’t need to be fat to stay single I just have to say the word no and it used to be so hard to say it now it’s not a problem for me at all anymore. I can honestly say I love myself now.

Even though I had never heard of this case I had figured out the motive within the first few minutes. I think I’ve been watching these shows too much for sure. I’m not saying it was a complicated case but these two had trill kill tatted on their foreheads. Great show. It’s drew me in straight away

Hi Rose! Looks like Peter Dinklage and Sam Rockwell are in it, too. It might be good.
Good IMDb reviews. As a matter of fact the director was married to Beals and Parsons.
Although not related to each other, he did cast Sam Rockwell in four of his films. Small world.

yellow_rose1 2 points 1 month ago*.

I love many of the actors. Dinklage is one of my favs and Rockwell thanks for letting me know. Beals is amazing too. Thanks Alien for your opinion it is highly regarded in my opinion .It been put on my watch list for sure

The film is based on the novel “Oil”, by Upton Sinclair…the movie itself is a fairly faithful rendering of the book.

yellow_rose1 1 points 1 month ago. (Contains Spoilers)

The priest, the baker and the candlestick maker. This is like a perverted game of clue. I do believe many of them were innocent. Except for the parents of the 3 boys. It is so disgusting how the courts can take everything you have and anything you are ever going to have on allegations made by sick people and very young children. Innocent before proof of guilt is B.S.

Daniel Day-Lewis is a master Thespian. This film is unrelenting, claustrophobic and catastrophic. It’s a pity he’s stopped acting. Recommended, as you already stated.

Thespian, cool word for actor. I had not heard of it until now thanks for the linguistics lesson. I do hope you are having yourself a fine day my friend

They are crabbing about a two bedroom house costing 2 grand a month we pay that or more for a 2 bedroom apartment and that’s the drug infested parts of town. A one bedroom here in Ontario Canada is easily 1600 hundred a month and that’s not including utilities which run anywhere from 500 to 900 a month in the winter.

If they move in together, I predict Alana pregnant by next season.

yellow_rose1 2 points 1 month ago.

I really hope she’s learned that isn’t a good idea to become a Mother so young. Get an education first. It worked out for her sister but I find Alana’s Personality traits to be very much like Junes’ therefore it will likely end in disaster.

Fabulous movie. I need to watch something to get my mind off of life and thought this would be the perfect choice. DiCaprio is so good in this movie. I almost forget it’s him. The realism in this character study is just how it ought to be. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Jeff Ross Roasts Criminals: Live at Brazos County Jail (TV Special 2015) (2015)
yellow_rose1 1 points 1 month ago.

I think it’s awesome that Jeff Ross did this. A person can loose their mind from the monotony and boredom. Not to mention the not knowing of what one’s future holds. It kind of reminds me of when Johnny Cash did his performances in Prisons in the U.S. I really enjoyed watching this I needed some laughs.

IMO. I believe if it was two sisters. They would have not been convicted or they would have been released by now. I believe them completely. Even if they did it to stop the abuse I think they should have been convicted of manslaughter. Abuse changes the way the brain develops. Especially the frontal lobe that is responsible for planning, reasoning and how to manage emotions and self-control. I do hope they are released one day.

here’s something else horrific; I live in Oshawa and our mayor, who was a drug addict and homeless for years, has made it ILLEGAL to feed the homeless on the streets! You can actually be fined for helping the less fortunate! That is absolutely disgusting.

I preferred this version instead of the version with Philip Seymour Hoffman. Toby Jones resembled Capote the most, and had his mannerism to the tee. Hoffman wasn’t bad though. Definitely worth a watch.

The Pledge (2001)
yellow_rose1 1 points 2 months ago.

wow what an amazing movie. The actors alone, first of all made it star studded. It is a tragic tale from beginning to end. I was really hoping for a resolution but in real life just as in this movie there often isn’t a resolution. Often people call it closure. IMO when a child is taken even if the killer is found and prosecuted I can’t see anyone ever having closure. That sort of thing haunts parents and the community forever. I think this movie showed the human cost of these such tragedies
