That was one great show. Ending was satisfying. I think it’s done but who knows there may be another season
From a canceled or renewed site: “As of March 20, 2023, Mayor of Kingstown has not been cancelled or renewed for a third season. Stay tuned for further updates”

episode 3 was pretty good, not sure what it had to do with the story.. was still kinda touching .. almost had a tear in me eye..certainly a lump in my throat..and quite frankly 2 men made a bit more sense than the usual guy and gal. so maybe it woke stuff, maybe not.. it was however tastefully done and done damn well.. great episode either way ..
Episode 3 changed my mind. I’ll be watching the rest of it.
EXACTLY! Episode 3 was a game changer. I thought that the subject matter was so lovingly well done.
You can watch BBC here in the states, I do!!! Just get a VP, I use free Browsec, set it to the UK, and when you sign up for BBC use a postal code, (like our zipcode, (find one on google), an your good to go!!!
I really hope I can find this somewhere. wish I could watch BBC here in the states.
Well, they should all align with mine, but we live in a far from perfect world.
I like the majority of British dramas and will make a point to watch this new drama the day after Christmas. Just wish there was a trailer to watch.
I started watching this, but ya know, I decided I can feed my mind something a bit more positive. This is like gawking at a bad traffic accident.
Dark, gritty, period-piece, crime drama. I loved it. I hope this gets another series or 3!
Good eh? great, will give a watch with a 7 day trial.. Season 2 is out I believe. :) Thanks
wtf kind of ending was that??? And we don’t get any closure because the series has been cancelled! Who abducted him? Was it Khader? Man, that’s some kind of fkd up!
Poor Karla.
The most ridiculous plot twist that I’ve ever seen. Terrible movie overall.
agreed, I only got about 15 min in, but it was enough. The casting of Martin Lawrence is all wrong. Not one I want to waste two hours sitting through.

Hey everyone, I`m doing a happy dance because Yellowstone is back this coming Sunday. Two episodes!
There were so many times during this episode that seemed as if June was going to abscond with the baby that I wonder if that was the intent i.e. she could but she didn’t. I think she’ll end up “saving” Baby Noah, setting it up for Serena to pay off that debt by helping June to recover Hannah.
I hope so. It was a great episode, as was the ending of the last. No words were needed as her face was a billboard of her thoughts, and the battle within, between her need for revenge, and doing the right thing.
Ugh! I wish Maddie, would be written off the show. I liked when she was gone. lol
The fact that there were no deaths (of the 13) is a bit unrealistic.
They could have killed off a couple of them. That would have been exciting.
Yeah, now that I’m aware that he’s in the show I can’t unsee that it’s him. Had me fooled up till then, though—I thought it was just some vaguely familiar character actor’s face.
Not to mention I don’t usually look too closely at crusty old dudes’ faces—all us old farts look alike anyway ;)
Wow. Sean Penn is unrecognizable in this. Wasn’t until the third ep or so till I remembered he was in it.
I recognized him immediately, profile and voice. looks like a good show.
Hi Noely! You do know there is one more episode? You commented on the wrong one.
I guess there is one more but not listed here. It’s over for me haha so touching. Next one will show young Jack like that music preview so long ago eh? I am sad it has ended. Definitely an unique piece of work, so much better and with more depth, than a million little things, in my opinion.
This show is something else. Once again, incredible acting by Elizabeth Moss. 5/5 mind warp ep 4!
I did not have my episodes confused. The “video interview” episode was cute & done in a tongue-in-cheek manner. This episode was poorly written. It misrepresented the organ donation protocol in this country & the new “eco-warrior” love interest did everything but come out as transgender. It’s just too much.
Unless you are doing a direct donation the organ donor program is anonymous. Drives me up a wall anytime a show misrepresents that & really takes me out of the narrative. I know it’s fiction but I’ve been spoiled by much better shows.
I appreciate this show for it’s quirkiness, for sitting just on the edge of full out comedy & even for how they handled the trauma of the aftermath of the kidnapping but when they try to do emotional drama it feels too forced.
The opening scene was good but then it spun off into Grey’s Anatomy territory. Idk, it just really bothered me this week.
different tastes. It’s entertainment. I disliked the video interview episode. I suspend reality in certain instances to enjoy it for what it is but the ‘wokeness’? I didn’t catch that.
This has got to be one of the dumbest episodes I’ve seen of any show..ever…it is all so forced & heavy handed with the wokeness. It overwhelms the better storylines. Such a shame as I really do like several of the actors.
You must be talking of the previous episode, which was a bit strange, filmed like video interviews. This was nothing like you are describing.
Off to a great start, let’s hope it keeps up as the episodes drop. I’m hooked
The first half of Resident Alien season 2 will consist of eight episodes, airing between January 26th and March 16th.
However, this isn’t expected to be the full total for season 2 as Resident Alien’s second instalment has been split into two parts according to TVLine, with the second half of the season coming later on in 2022.
This documentary has opened my eyes and changed our lives. 10/10
Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I know many who struggle with this, and looking forward to watching. Maybe it will help them.
“The meanest thing you can do to yourself, is hate someone else.”
Gritty, fast paced, A list cast and plenty of drama! It’s a different perspective on the crime drama genre, with a “Training Day”, “City On a Hill” and “Mare of Eastown” feel to it, all gritty and dark with compelling “take no bullshit” main characters. Hopefully it can keep up its shocking, yet intriguing piolet episode! So far so good! I’m Excited to see where this goes. Happy watching!
It really did keep up with it didn’t it!? Excellent show, on every level. One has to be okay with some dark stuff, but it’s not gratuitous violence, just really freaking real!
Renner was in a very serious accident back in January and is still recovering. There have been rumors that he is considering retiring from Hollywood, but only time will tell.
Yes I realize that he is looking at his priorities from such serious injuries. Prayers up for him. that he recover completely.
