Ooh yeah. Nice one.
SJ Robert's comments
Does Clint Eastwood make any bad movies?
Great cast. Another classic baseball movie.
Weird cross between Mad Max, Dr. Seuss, Rick & Morty, Land of the Giants, and… something else - I don’t know what. Bizarrely surreal and abstract, yet also all too familiar.
None of the links have English subtitles for the Dutch and German dialog parts, but you can download subtitle files from the web (lots of free sites) and then open the file through the video players closed captioning tool.
The streamtape episodes seem to be off by 1 episode, at least for Season 1. S1E3 shows S1E4, etc. I reported it for 3 of them.
This movie, released before the matrix is the matrix only better.
I saw this in a theater as a double-feature, opening for The Matrix. Needless to say it was the best double-feature I’ve ever seen. Both completely blew my mind. The Matrix is, of course, a popular classic now. Dark City is an underground/cult classic. Both are easy 5/5.
Better than expected. That was fun. Not corny like the TV show. Solid 3.5/5.
Streamtape has English subtitles. Abcvideo and mystream do not. Not sure about the others.
Nice, intriguing series, slowly drawing you in. The more answered, the more questions develop. The reveal/cliffhanger at the end begs for a 2nd season. Real bummer it was not given a 2nd season. 4.5/5 stars.
Will be a classic one day. Great story. Mixdrop has English dub. Dood.watch has original Swedish. Not sure about the others.
Link is no longer good. Might as well delete the comment (or update the link).
If you like Hardy, you should watch the movie titled “Warrior”…one of his best imo, the entire cast was amazing..one of my fave movies..https://www.primewire.li/movie/411964-watch-warrior
Good series. 3.5/5 But you gotta watch the classic Robert Redford, Max Von Sydow movie this was based on, “Three Days of the Condor.”
S1E9 has a scene where Joubert in the series pays homage to Joubert in the movie, reciting the same exact lines. Those that saw the movie know and love that scene.
Should have just killed the baby. End of problem.
its from Robert Heinlein’s short story “ - all you zombies “ . an amazing writer , he wrote many of the classic sci fi memes. other movies from his books “starship troopers” and “puppet masters”
Not exactly. It was written (and directed) by the Spierig brothers, but based on the idea in Heinlein’s All You Zombies.
Make sure to watch the prequels for the best effect :

Dang. Wish I read your comment first. Just finished watching and during the watch it seemed like maybe it was part of a sequence. Bummer that I watched Part 3 first. Wish it noted it was Part 3 of a trilogy in the movie description.
Like this series, but annoyed at the writing in this episode - portraying the token progressive Senator who had the silly and radical notion that an international treaty on climate change should actually include something that addresses a root cause like fossil fuels, and the way the Senator was dismissed as a political grandstanding moonbeamer and ridiculed as not knowing his facts - all just infuriating when comparing to today’s politics where the progressives are the ONLY ones making the accurate scientific arguments and the establishment liberals (heroes in this show) are weak incrementalists who offer no real climate solutions. It just came off as really bad anti-progressive propaganda. First time, deep into its 5th season, that the show greatly disappointed. But at least it was only for a small part of the episode.
I stuck it through. It got better than my first comment described. But it ended with the most non-ending of any series I’ve ever watched. The whole show was like 4 or 5 separate stories - different Treadstone characters, always hinting at them all coming together at the end. But it ended with mid-story cliffhangers for all of them. The most unresolved series finale ever. I know it was planned for a 2nd season, but even for that it was an unresolved season finale, let alone series finale. Weird. Had potential. I won’t forget this one as the most unresolved show ever. Hah!
Seems like a good movie, but no English subtitles for the Spanish dialog.
Hah. Don’t the girls on YouTube today call this a haul? Looks like we found a 1928 lingerie haul - and actually more risque than 2020!
Wow. Better than I expected. How’d I miss this one? Warning: not your pappy’s crime drama. One of the best of its genre. 4.5/5
Surprising twists and leaves you with a perplexing ethical conundrum.

Inspired by the novels of Hammett, particularly Red Harvest.
Thanks, Alien. Always on the lookout for good ones to add to the list. Any Hammett inspired or influenced flick is worth checking out. (The .ag links don’t work any more for me. I had to change it to .li but then it came up.)
Ellen Barkin at her best , a pleasure to watch her expressions as she works a scene, an interesting cat and mouse with interesting wrap.
Gia Carides plays the dark horse, soo hot! enjoy
Just saw Ellen Barkin in a minor but excellent role in Brooklyn’s Finest. Interesting crime drama flick with awesome cast. But yeah, she’s very good. I’ll check this one out.
I love this movie, it’s one of my favourites. I’ve watched it many times and like “The Suspect”, I can watch it over and over again, simply because the main actor, the story, and the action scenes are superb. Well that’s my opinion and I’m sticking with it.
Yep. It’s a classic and therefore a solid 5/5 rating. One of the very best action flicks.
Not bad. Great cast. Three separate anguished cops with different stories that end in different ways at the same location the same night. So many key moments of life and death are determined by random chance.
It’s blood-simply Hammett time.
Hah! I read his name and thought the same thing - it’s gonna be bloody. Nonetheless Dashiell Hammett is a great writer, and not always bloody (The Maltese Falcon). I read Red Harvest when I was younger and ever since I’ve been a fan. I look forward to this movie, when I have a chance to watch.
2.5/5 Watchable, but had a made-for-TV feel. Bad writing in places but OK.
Well that was different. Strange combination of being very adult in parts and cheesy family entertainment in others. Recommended for people who like unusual films, and appreciate something outside the normal mold - not for everyone. I liked it.
4.5/5 stars for this 3rd chapter, possibly the best of the series, at least equal to the 1st. Hits the ground running and doesn’t let up. Characters have developed by this time, which adds greatly to the story. (Must see them in sequence.) Only negative: going overboard with the shakey-cam, which was in vogue at the time. Otherwise, destined to be a classic.
Pity no one picked up this excellent suspense & intrigue thriller for a 2nd season. It got better and better, but could’ve used one more episode to resolve some lingering loose ends, though the big ones were resolved.
so it is collapsed and doesnt take the page in comments. duh :)
Not really an obvious duh, since you’re using the spoiler feature for something else, which is ok but kind of a useless efficiency since it’s not like the page will run out of space. :-)
Great quarantine movie. Plenty of action and ridiculous hilarity. Lots of familiar faces in this 33 year old classic Nicolas Cage flick.
Movie was OK but the audio is too low. Had a hard time hearing it at full blast, on all host sites.
Hah. It’s like a right-wing Falling Down. (Sort of, at the end.)
Excellent. Even better on 2nd or 3rd watch.
I like the audio. The sound of that high-power rifle is amazing.
Abstract classic. Actually more surreal than abstract. Mind-blowing story as well as the semi-animation scenery and incredible dissonant modal jazz near the end. Nudity (beautifully done). Allow some confusion and let yourself go with it. I remember how it blew me away in the theater. This is a true sleeper. Can’t think of any other film like it. A 10/10 for me, but will not be for everyone.
Classic spy story. Innocent guy drawn into danger, has to figure it out on the run. Typical Odyssey framework but rarely done this well. One of the best of the genre.
The Brits made a 3 short-season series of this back in 1983.

I haven’t seen either yet. Just fyi.
I’m considering binging the series first.
I wonder how long Hollywood will keep stuffing this junk like female Ghostbusters, Oceans 8, Atomic Blond and now Anna movies onto our screens… Total junk, get woke go broke.
Huh? Atomic Blond was excellent. Underrated. Loved the realistic fight scenes. Charlize Theron did her own stunts - all the fights. Loved the plot and the twists, especially at the end. No offense, but now I know not to trust your reviews!
