agrees lame cop out ending that made no sense -he wouldnt have jumped if he had no empathy -he woulda felt no guilt so 0 chance of feeling guilty

He also wouldn’t have lied about his sisters death for decades if he was a sociopath. That originates from a sense of guilt.

Hella meh ending, smh. Broadchurch, the Killing, Safe, The Stranger, Retribution, & Collateral all had way better endings than this hot mess.

F*CK The Critics what do they know about our likes and dislikes. It is only an opinion.

bcreed08 4 points 3 years ago.

Most, if not all, Oscar nominated films are acclaimed by the critics. audience reviews are just opinions. Critic reviews are indicators for who might get an Oscar Nom.

Well done powerful adaptation of the popular novel by JD Vance,
featuring a stellar cast (including Glenn Close and Amy Adams),
artfully directed by the incomparable Ron Howard.
This potential Oscar masterpiece is a must see,
despite the critic naysayers. Judge for yourself!

bcreed08 2 points 3 years ago.

More likely to get a Razzie than an Oscar. Critics are crucifying this movie.

Survivors (1975)

I really didn’t even suspect the son until half way through this episode, but even then a lot doesn’t add up if he was the killer. How come he left no bloody footprints? How come he has no dna at the scene? How did he avoid getting on camera going to and from the scene, even his father, who is quite familiar with the location couldn’t avoid the cameras, so how did the son? Does the son hide the hammer every time he needs to use the violin case? Why wouldn’t the son just get rid of the hammer? Does the husband know it was the son and came up with the story of leaving? Did the husband flee in order to protect his son and make himself the primary suspect? lots of questions need answers here.

a total downer, boring movie. Why did they even make this? smh

Let me get this straight Jack has Kim working at CTU to keep her safe, the same place her mother was executed by a double agent. The same place agency that has had multiple double agents nearly every season. smh, c’mon Jack that place is a death trap.

Cowboys & Aliens (2011)

Definitely an under rated film with A list actors.

I can see the logic behind your reasoning. Especially since the blonde seemed to be a little too wise to hubby’s behavior. And dad sure has the means to get the job done but if his motive was to get rid of son-in-law, surely there would have been a simpler, less lethal way available to a man of his means.
The bludgeoning points to a crime of passion so hubby was right in opining that jealousy played a role here.
But I’m still seeing red herrings…money’s still on wifey with daddy beginning to wonder if it was her. He’ll definitely do anything to protect her…even sending an innocent man to the gallows!

bcreed08 1 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I think the wife’s father would have done it to protect his daughter and her family, not to get rid of the son in law. The murder victim was obsessed with her.

The Undoing (2020) S1 E4
bcreed08 4 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

My prime suspects are the wife’s father and the wife’s blonde friend. The Father has definitely shown a darker side this episode and a propensity for deceit. The Blonde friend seems to be getting far more screen time than is justified for the role she is playing in this story. Perhaps the blonde friend had been hooking up with the husband as well until the murder victim came along. Or the murder victim could have wronged her in some other way. She just seems too innocent in this story and is getting unjustified screen time, it would definitely be the chance to defy expectations by the writers.

Much better version is now available for this half decent disaster flick.

Not that impressed. Hopefully it was just a bad pilot.

Hmmm I don’t think her husband did it. Either she did or her Father is the way I am thinking now. Anyone else have an opinion?

bcreed08 4 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I think its either the Father or a character we haven’t been introduced to yet. All the others seem too obvious.

Normal People (2020)
bcreed08 1 points 3 years ago.

This great show is finding some major traction. Its now found its way onto Hulu. I wouldn’t be surprised if Netflix picked it up for some more seasons like they did with “You”, which originally aired on the Lifetime Network.

Normal People (2020) S1 E12
bcreed08 3 points 3 years ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

Disappointed in the ending. The basic plot point that has become a trope of the series of them breaking up and getting back together endlessly basically just continues. Really no growth for the characters nor the story. I haven’t read the book so it may end in a similar fashion, but i would have just as many issues with that ending. It would have been far more interesting to see how they dealt with living in NY together and perhaps dealing with having a child or Marianne starting her career and Connell starting his MFA program. Marianne choosing to stay in Ireland for no real explicable reason and encouraging her co-dependant boyfriend to move to a new country alone is absurd. The story needs to evolve past the crutch of this on again, off again relationship.

Hey, here’s a thought…Nicole kidman is the Killer, cause she found out about the affair….I rest my case…!!!!

bcreed08 1 points 3 years ago.

its probably someone we haven’t even been introduced to yet. They do that all the time in these types of series. They wait to introduce the killer and their motives until the last few episodes, while the audience has been speculating the whole season over the people we had been introduced to in the beginning.

The Craft: Legacy (2020)
bcreed08 2 points 3 years ago.

Mediocre sequel at best, very different tone than the first. I’d recommend the Secret Circle tv series if you want something similar to the original Craft. Salem is also a very good witch craft series as well.

No Ordinary Family (2010)
bcreed08 2 points 3 years ago.

Disney should shop this out to another network and let them reboot it. I could see it doing much better now rather than ten years ago. There a very few shows about a family of superheroes. Black Lightning and The Gifted are two recent examples but most shows are about a single superhero or an unrelated ensemble. Perhaps Showtime could pick it up and spice it up a bit.

The Sounds (2020) S1 E6
bcreed08 1 points 3 years ago.

The show wasn’t that great to begin with but this episode pretty much just ruins the show for me completely. Such a stupid direction they decided to go in.

Filthy Rich (2020)

The New Zealand version is much better than this one. This looks like it will be canceled after one season.

Tenet (2020)

New copy but sound quality still not great. I hope the next copy will be better.

bcreed08 4 points 3 years ago.

Apparently the movie itself has bad sound quality. People are complaining about it after watching it in theaters.

The Big Short (2015)
blee 4 points 4 years ago.

Never heard of this but glad i watched it. Lots of big names, interesting story, good performances from all involved…idk why this flew under the radar, def worth a watch! :)

bcreed08 2 points 4 years ago.

Maybe your Radar is broken. It got 4+ Oscar Nominations and Won the Oscar for best adapted screenplay
