New Year’s Eve party on a train, a murderer, Jamie Lee Curtis and David Copperfield. Cheesy but fun.

I ended up watching 2 epis since there was a wrong epi called Dollhouse which was really good. This one was ok imo.
“Dollhouse” was actually the first one in this season. I saw an “official” list somewhere that was pretty off. “Dollhouse” isn’t bad. I think “Aura” is my fave so far. Though this one comes in a close second.
From the start, I was hooked. I’m trying to space out episodes, rather than binge, but…wow. Sarah Paulson plays an amazing Nurse Ratched. The whole cast is incredible. Doesn’t hurt that there’s some eye-candy too (Paulson, Wittrock). Amanda Plummer and Sharon Stone are terrific as well. Leave it to Ryan Murphy to dredge up old talent!
This series is really starting to come off as a 80s cheeseuqe kind of horror. Either that or the writers are just bad. Fun to watch if you look at it from that angle, otherwise dont look for griping storylines
Obviously low budget. Acting’s a bit wooden at times. But it’s an interesting concept, and there are quite a few humorous lines. Go into it with low expectations, and you might enjoy it. A one time watch for me.
What a fun start! Some were more memorable than others. Poppy Love stole the stage and the win with Alanis. Chakra 7 was spot on. Donna Belissima brought comedy, but might’ve done better in a more flattering outfit (and a corset). I loved her melons and eggplants, though. I cracked up when Electra Owl made that remark about Drag Queens doing their own hair and makeup, then calling Ru out. lmao. “Thirsty von Trapp your hills were alive!” Fabulosity talking about wanting to do moves she can normally do, girl, I feel you! Jackie Would? I already have, js :-P I got the feeling Brooke Lynn Hytes has a thing for Chick-li-Fay. Which might explain the “cougar at 2AM look. Milli von Sunshine was forgettable. Bless her heart. I wasn’t surprised at the outcome. Sorry to see Fabulosity/Loretta Devine go. I know I recognize some of those other voices.
Great episode. Denis O’Hare was only in it for a moment, and somehow STILL managed to steal the show!
Interesting twist on the urban legend. Casting Dominique Jackson was genius! I do wonder why the girls were putting on so much makeup just to play a slumber party game.
The four best things about this movie are the Transylvanian wildlife, baby Spot, and Elvira (even if she wasn’t dressed as Elvira). Herman’s character was fairly close. Grandpa was so-so. Lily lacked the subtly and poise her character calls for. It wasn’t horrible, but not great either.
I hear you. At least give the first episode a shot. It’s something completely different. These are all stand-alone stories.
I’m still behind on TWD. And haven’t seen this second episode. But I agree that greyfur should give the first a shot. I’ve gotten a bit burned out on the TWD story lines, but this might actually bring new life to it. Plus. . . Terry Crews!
Yeah I love her too but it was a justified defeat. She was in the bottom most out of anyone, and she is wayyy to sensitive to be the next top all star. She lets her emotions get the best of her still and it reads in all that she does on the show… from how she conducts herself in the work room to how she performs… and even in untucked… prayers for TKB
For an animated show, this is surprisingly layered. At times, this episode was a bit predictable, but overall…. 5 stars.
There’s nothing quite like a good Christmas movie. This is nothing like a good Christmas movie! Seriously, the best part were the rats Marley and Marley.
I kinda doubt there will be a season two but that’s just my opinion
Probably not. But if there is, here’s hoping it’s more like the first few episodes, rather than the last.
awee…. can anyone please find some subtitles for this episode….? please…
The Klaus/Roger story line was good. The Stan/Francine/Haley was….meh.
The Peter/Chris story line was both funny and sweet. He chose to postpone spending time with his girlfriend rather than make his dad feel bad. That handy man Lois and Meg were fighting over, oh my!
Lestat’s death scene was powerful and gory. But are we really to believe Louis’s companion is Armand?
“Goode is evil”
This is a fantastic ending(?) to the trilogy. Of course they left it open-ended, so who knows? The first half-ish starts in the 1600s, as seen through the eyes of our protagonist from the first episode. She’s surrounded by characters from E1 & E2. Of course, Sarah Fier is accused of witchcraft simply because a man said so. Her “dalliance” (his words) with the preacher’s daughter didn’t help. Overall, historically accurate for the USA, though they didn’t imprison and torture the accused. The second half returns to ‘94, where justice is finally served. At least, until someone else finds the book of pure evil…lol.
No, Sigourney should’ve gone home not Zava! Sig’s look was VERY basic whereas Zava’z was not. They both had major malfunctions but Sig keeps doing the same silhouette. Grrrr.
Agreed. Sigourney just keeps pulling the same basic look, even when she finally tries to incorporate horror.
Just shows what an excellent actor he is that he can switch from his vampire accent to that one. He has a regular American accent irl. I’ve watched some interviews w/him. He seems like such a sweet guy.
Hubie was the least funny character in the movie. However, the rest of the cast more than made up for Adam Sandler’s performance. And the shirts his mother and her friend wore were hilarious!
What? That sounds ridiculous, I’m in! LOL
If you checked it out, I hope you enjoyed it. The episodes are all short, but they’re so funny.
Meh, for a season premiere it was okay🤷🏾♂️ nothing ground breaking
“Like Halloween and Christmas, April Fools’ Day traces it’s origins to Pagan ritual” (Easter too, by the way).
As Carol from TWD would say, look at the flowers.
Okay, okay, I just have to state (sing?) the obvious:
“Don’t mess with a missionary man….”
Annie Lennox warned us. She did.😉
I’m curious to find out how many hardcore TWD fans are going to hate this show. I’m more of a casual fan of the original recipe but I thought this was a good start for me at least.
A longtime TWD fan here. I love this show so far! It calls back, but has it’s own feel. I’m excited to see what they can bring.
“How hard can it be to find ONE good bra?” Owen doesn’t know what he’s getting himself into. lol. Seriously, fun episode.
Decent episode. There was humor and heartfelt moments, more like some of the earlier seasons than most of the episodes over the last few years.
Sorry, Roger. Cheese Nips beat Cheez-Its any day! Unless you’re talking the spicy Cheez-Its. And OMG, someone on Facebook mentioned Paul Lynde was the inspiration for Roger’s voice. Watching this, I see it! Uncle Arthur (“Bewitched”) lives on!
When “rick and morty a very merry rickmas yule log’ comes out dont bother watching it. Waste of time. Worst episode ever. Snore. Lazy writers.
I watched about a minute of it. Skipped ahead to see if it was better. I second your recommendation to skip this.
