Love love love the way this show is filmed
Peevee's comments
I’m guessing you’re too young to have read “Lord of the Flies” in high school…
So this is basically a reenactment of the “Andes flight disaster” from 1972? They just replaced the male with female players. We’ll see if it’s any good…
It’s probably closer to “The Wilds” on Amazon Prime.
Are they bringing Dexter back? That’s awesome!
Yep. Next Sunday (might be released earlier online, like Friday. Showtime sometimes does that). Dexter is in a new town in upstate new York where he’s dating Julia Jones’ character and she has a daughter played by the great Johnny Sequoyah in her first major tv role since “Believe” was canceled (she was in the pilot for “American Housewife” but then replaced and cast in “Love, Victor” but then replaced as well!)
I’m excited, especially since Johnny is older now (turned 19 last week)
Both. I thought It’s always sunny in Philadelphia was over? haven’t seen new episodes in a few years.
Nope, it’s continuing but COVID and busy schedules got in the way for a while
Is this now the last remaining epic sitcom that’s still airing new episodes? Not counting animated sitcoms.
As for really good sitcoms, there are plenty still on the air just not many on network tv (or even cable). Streaming is dominating the sitcom space right now.

Epic as in long running or just really good? It’s always sunny in Philadelphia has been on since 2005. New episodes should resume next year.
Only two episodes? The first one was sort of boring, so I hope the next is better.
6 episodes. Sometimes it takes a while for the episodes to all be listed
I know I’m not exactly the target audience but I love this show. Some of the acting is as expected for a Nick show over-the-top but the show itself is a lot more subtle and sophisticated for a show airing on the slime network lol and some of these kids (Kensington Tallman, especially) are future stars.
Not to mention, popular comedian John Milhiser plays the teacher (Nick is recruiting a lot of former SNL stars; see also Jay Pharoah on “Unfiltered”)
I watched and enjoyed the BBC version of this show that was released a couple years ago, they are in their 3rd season. I can’t believe how very similar the scripts are and the ghost characters. Reminds me of Shameless, watch the first episode of the British version and then the American version and the script is almost identical. No imagination on the US side.
Now I did like the show and will continue to watch it just to see if they change anything but I doubt it.
The pilot episodes of the British and American versions of “The Office” are nearly identical too, of course, that show diverged A LOT from the original after the pilot so one really remembers the near word-for-word pilot.
i thought there were 4 movies in this series, (counting this one) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candyman_(film_series)
this is an excellent drama series with a few moments of comedic relief. It is classified not only as a drama, but also as a “comedy”. It’s not. there is nothing funny about domestic violence, child abuse or mental illness.
You are right. It’s definitely a drama. Though I do believe some very dark twisted satirical comedy can come from those (or any) taboo subjects, this is not that. This is a drama.
My god. Now what in the world kind of nonsense premiere was THAT?! I ended up forwarding all through. This isn’t some tired soap opera, get back to the real characters already. And there’s going to be a part 2?! Lord.
First episode was solid, quite disturbing and with a solid mystery to unfold. Curious to watch the rest as the weeks progress!
It’s “Lost” meets “Terra Nova” Which is exactly what I was promised and it delivered. It’s nothing new anymore and the execution isn’t great but oh well. I was entertained!
Woohoo! New season. I love Robson Green.

A bit of a departure from drama, crime and mystery.

A great drama gone way too soon (only 1 season) imho
I like this show but that season premiere was rough, man. I get that it was live but…. Yeesh.
Season 10 and this show is just garbage now. Trapped underwater and falling through the roof of a burning building and everything is fine.
It’s a Dick Wolf show. It’s junk food. I hate the phrase “turn your brain off and enjoy” but you might as well.
Wtf? You want the cellular science behind it or something? They explained it all in season 2 at the CDC and the rest in Fear TWD.
Yes, we want the cellular science. Also, we want Daryl putting some zombie burgers on the bbq!
I’m especially looking forward to episode 3. One of my most anticipated comedy shows of the year!
Buckle your seatbelts Ladies and Germs, it’s an Elora Danan (yes, like the baby from “Willow”) centric episode!
I was hoping this would be like “Kat and Alfie: Redwater” (a Primetime spinoff of “EastEnders”), where it actually looks like a real primetime-level show but nope lol.
…wish he’d left out those onions though.
Freaky onions.
Almost like a Nick Cannon sneak freaky talent.
