I may have been a bit quick to say there is “no such thing” as a 10 film. I too have a few that may rate a 10, bearing in mind that they rate a 10 in my opinion, and others may not agree. I always site “Memories Of Murder” as a 10 film. I loved that film. Thanks for keeping me honest.
guys! legends of the fall, dances with wolves, rebel without a cause…
but yeah this one 6/10.
@tardisrider
You are very welcome

You may also find the 2022 Channel 4 show below of interest. Another British Real Crime show that has surprised me by having new details and information about notorious serial killer cases.
i also remember this one in the news, its quite well done https://www.primewire.vc/tv/1334304-watch-white-house-farm
only 2 thing REALLY rub me the wrong way about this show: 1) the friend who calls her “babe” every other sentence. and 2)she changes her hair every other scene.
I grew up near Manchester and was 10 when Sutcliffe was arrested so can remember bits of the tv coverage and how scary it seemed..
BUT this programme gobsmacked me!
Absolutely Shocking.
5/5
i was a little younger, and outside banbury but also remember bits of the tv coverage and how scary it seemed. i almost passed on this because of that. i saw your comment and decided to try, ty
Hmmmm so Saru pays Bryce the correct respect and adheres to chain of command but referring to him by his rank. Bryce then call says ‘… Mr Saru’. The dudes a Capt….. that’s the military etiquette equivalent of spitting in someone’s face.
Can’t really see La forge going ‘Aye Aye Mr Picard’. Lazy/poor writing.
you are correct sir, navy tradition states regardless of rank whether lieutenant or admiral the commanding officer of a vessel be called captain
Every time I decide to watch another episode i think There is no way the writing could be worse or more corny than last episode. And yet. They continue to surprise with each addition to the wet fart that is Discovery
Did you mean Mrs. Peel?
no Mrs Gale, Mrs. Peel took over when Honor Blackman left to go be a bond girl after season 3.
wow this plot plays out with all the speed of molasses, coulda packed the whole thing in a half hour!
yes I’m glad I realized that early on or I would have abandoned it for sure. Everyone knows we didn’t use pipes to smoke pot in 75 we rolled spiffs lol
Wow, you know of The Sweet? Loved them back in the day but few remember them in the glam rock scene since they were a one hit wonder. ‘Ballroom Blitz’ was my jam!
one hit wonder? what about Hell Raiser, Teenage Rampage, Turn It Down, Fox on the Run
@tardisrider I would even put Kiss in that category. Though I did like Kiss and it was the first band I ever saw live at the San Francisco cow palace during the filming of Kiss Alive 2. However other then kiss I was firmly in the AC/DC, Slayer, Megadeath, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Metallica, Iron Maiden camp.
who back then wasn’t?, but i wouldn’t put any of those even kiss in the glam category. i always felt kiss took a page from alice cooper, showmanship wise. kiss was a little too ‘kiddie’ for me i was more into deep purple, scorpions.
As someone that went through the late 60’s, 70’s, 80’s etc.. That was into rock n roll and Heavy Metal my other head banging friends and I call this music glamband rock.
t-rex, slade, the sweet, some say early ziggy stardust era bowie all glam rock origionators.
Excellent..can’t wait for season 2! 9/10 ‘cause nothings ever exactly as you envision it when you read it. Lol
something about the best friend in this episode reminds me of krity McNicols lol..js
wha..there’s enough here to get started where’s the rest? 3/10 for incompletion!
wow a western in the old vein don’t make many like this 9/10 ‘cause was slow to spark, but once it did it more than made up for it!
i realize subs are powerful, but surely would’ve noticed!
absolutely wonderfull to see so many of the places i grew up around and visited in my youth! ty
Its not that great of a premise but it’s entertaining. It will probably get axed but enjoy it for what it is.
sci-fi/fantacy and the commenters say its not believable………well derrrr
ok ep 3 so far and loving it, delightfully quaint romp thru the ny micro-cosm of apt building living! all 3 leads perfectly nailing their characters!
while quirky and funny at times, i found this strange and hard to follow, a very odd movie. 4/10
wow reading some unkind words here about clint! i on the other hand enjoyed it! yes clint is starting to look 75 but thats not bad for a 91 year old! it’s a gentler the mule type movie not a hang em high type, leaves ya feeling wistful 9/10
Yeah, maybe a few older but i also watched the Gerry Anderson’s you mention.. remember Aquamarina? My hearthrob, Ha! Yeah the Magic Roundabout really was special. Another Gerry A series that just dropped here is Four Feather Falls which i also watched as a kid, it was good fun.. https://www.primewire.li/tv/187397-watch-four-feather-falls Check it out. Thanks to whoever’s posting all these historic progs btw :)x
i really did try with this but its just too hard to connect w the character, after 4 ep i’m dropping this painfully drawn out show in favor of entertainment
