This was just a treat! Wonderful cast, interesting storyline and locations plus very witty. More please.

OMG Wanda Sykes is the bomb they need, quote …”look at Joe Manchin his wife didn’t even know he existed last year and now he controls America”.
😂
I find her very real and eminently likeable. The actor who plays her grandmother is hilarious.
A great ending to the series, even a surprise twist…
It has been picked up for a second season; with a totally new cast and different location other than Hawaii.
wtf is happening here? I don’t watch this show for absurdity. Now Wanda Sykes?
She’s already coming off like she has bats in her belfry. I hope things change.
Wackner has to go!
Are there supposed to be subtitles for the Hebrew in this or a dubbed version? The trailer on IMDB shows subtitles.
I cannot stress enough how much I LOATHED the main character. Good movie, good characters, very happy about the ending.
I felt the same way. It bothered me so much, after about half an hour, I put aside to finish at another time because —the acting was excellent.
Elaine May at 89 years young! They keep giving us these wonderful little surprises.
Kudos to Ronan Farrow. This was an extremely intense and enlightening Docuseries. I have been a New Yorker reader for years and this has only increased my admiration of their journalism.
Although he is one of my fave movie makers and I consider him a genius..Woody is a a lot older than his female costars and he could have a thing for the youngsters, but Dylan was trained by Mummy Mia and she lost her way as she got older and silenced her lies. Now that Woody is older and “stained” she comes out to bite him again but brother Ronan still doesnt embrace her story enough to run with it himself. Its dodgy. As for Soon-Yi, shes a messed up case indeed and marriage of convenience. As for their children..are they his? Mia said he was sterile ~ smh ~ lol
Allen’s only claim to a birth child is Ronan. His two children with Soon-Yi are adopted. Of course there are all sorts of stories about Ronan, Mia and Sinatra. “A riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma” ;)
He is indeed quite a strong confidant young man. He had the chance to make another powerful documentary about his sister and Woody Allen, had he not been afraid to upset his family at the time..but I hear he has been a powerhouse in investigating this story further with a friend ..and hoping to expose Allen in the coming years. Allen v. Farrow (2021)is another compelling investigation ..but I dont believe a word Dylan says.
hmmm, I watched Allen V Farrow and also listened to the podcast about the making of it. Curious as to why you don’t believe Dylan, he seems to? Soon-Yi is the one I can’t wrap my head around.
Ronan Farrow was obviously very vulnerable himself throughout this whole process, which is a testament to his commitment to the story. He and Rich McHugh certainly deserve the accolades they received. This is riveting stuff about power, ego, entitlement and venality.
Can’t wait for this to begin. Tchéky Karyo is such a stunning actor.
Aw, you should check it out. The women get beat up, stabbed, shot, bloodied and generally knocked around in it. You’ll prob. love it.
😂 you were right. A little misandry with humour is fun for a change!
Oh yeah, those two guys are dead for sure!
Don’t know why Ray didn’t kill Freddy tho, but anyways, a great ending to a great show.
From a recap/review I read—
Why Freddy Didn’t Get His Comeuppance
Now, why did Freddy get to live? That’s honestly hard to say. Maybe it is because Ray truly doesn’t want to do this anymore and knows that this whole loop of betrayal and revenge would never end if he killed Freddy. For if he kills Freddy, he has to kill Freddy’s girlfriend probably, and then her family will cause a fuss, and so on and so forth.
This ultimately makes it seem that Ray would rather be the ghost in Freddy’s nightmares than actually kill him.
Since the beginning of the series, Freddy has been an ass that didn’t really deserve Ray. Granted, he got Ray paid and made him a very rich man, but he was just this sniveling creep who you just wanted to see get messed up. So when he outright tried to screw over Ray, which honestly doesn’t feel like the first time, and Ray let it go?
As noted, we got why Ray likely did it but considering this is the last we’ll see of these characters, is it wrong to want some wish fulfillment?
I never saw Gray. I thought this was more the cat with 9 lives getting another run. I used to drive a taxi and those 2 losers were actually a really good portrayal of the type of idiots who assumed they could easily get the better of you. They may have picked the wrong driver to take on with Ray.
Funny thing, apparently Scott Ryan really was a taxi driver while he was inventing the Ray Shoesmith character. Explains how he nailed it writing for the 2 losers he picked up there at the end.
The title of the episode is “I’m Not Leaving”. I don’t understand why people are jumping to the conclusion that Ray dies.
The enigmatic smile he gives those 2 punks bodes otherwise. Seems Ray is going to see if he still has it, even after taking a bit of a break.
. . . but I’ll miss him.
Funnier? It needs to just start getting a little bit funny. Or have something interesting happen. Even the resort they’re in is boring and blah. If I wanted to watch a bunch of unlikable, spoiled white ppl (the characters, not the actors) with their ‘problems’, I’ll turn on some reality shows.
What was that?! How the hell did that make it on to HBO?? That wd have been boooring and unlikable even on NBC or Lifetime. I stuck with it expecting something decent to develop towards the end but…nothing. Yuk!
“Spotted dick” is a traditional British baked pudding, historically made with suet and dried fruit (usually currants or raisins) and often served with custard.
OMG, almost rolled off bed laughing!
What a wonderful testament to this great comedic activist and humanitarian. Watch it!
Looks like the new kids are turning the firm upside down.
Mandy Patinkin was perfect in that role. I hope he’ll be back.
This show is always a breath of fresh air. Inhales deeply.
According to Deadline—
“The Good Fight is getting a high-profile new cast addition for Season 5. Emmy and Tony winner Mandy Patinkin (Homeland) is joining the praised Paramount+ drama series as a series regular with a one-year deal.” :)

Ok, it’s a given with Soderbergh directing and that cast, in that city; the movie would be great. BUT oh those cars, beautiful metal sculptures with leather and chrome adornments!
I had never seen the Hitman’s Bodyguard so I decided to watch it first.
It was ok, but this was better on so many levels. More humour, better locations, non-stop action and Salma Hyack.
Scene wIth Ryan Reynolds in the swing and the seat belt. Just smart funny!
Mandy Patinkin, oh goody. I love it when they blow shit up, both literally and figuratively!!
TKU to the uploader(s) for getting these final 2 episodes up so quickly. Nice big files that show all the amazing colour too!
This is just too funny! They all play brilliantly off each other. Between this and John Oliver my Sunday night is made.
Bad ass to the end. I will miss seeing that great house and hearing the cool jazz soundtrack.
BUT, then there is this from Variety—
“While one big seven-season-long chapter closes for the abrasive, steadfast and intensive titular Hollywood detective Hieronymous “Harry” Bosch, the disgruntled and now decamped Los Angeles Police Department veteran is headed down a new road. Luckily for fans of the show, this path, to be explored on Amazon IMDB TV’s untitled “Bosch” spinoff, might not diverge too far from what they’re familiar with.”
…and from the LA Times
“Set about 18 months after the “Bosch” finale the new series will follow Harry Bosch (Welliver) as he embarks on the next chapter of his career and finds himself working with his one-time enemy and top-notch attorney Honey “Money” Chandler (Mimi Rogers) as a state-licensed private detective; if the FBI clears his background check, anyway. This unlikely pair, must work together to do what they can agree on— finding justice.”
Can’t come soon enough!
Why do I seem to be the only one watching this?

they are predicting late September 2021
After telling us she was leaving at the end of the season, could they have made this anymore bloody predictable…
• set up his terminal illness then have him say “I’m dying whether it’s this year or the next doesn’t matter. What I’ve got doesn’t go away it just takes a pause, regroups and comes back.” then he can be dying for 2 more seasons √
• shoot her but don’t kill her so she can show up in the final season √
• keep her daughter alive so “pinky” can play grandad √
• and of course Ressler survives because he, Cooper, Dembe and Red are the only original cast left √
(sigh)

Well that was just unbearably sad. So well acted. The music in the sound track throughout was almost like another character. Thoroughly enjoyed the twists and turns. Kept you guessing until the last.
Well now we’re getting somewhere. It’s all about fire! House on fire, car on fire, nest on fire. . .
For all of you gleeful about Megan Boone’s departure; it was her decision to leave the show which she told them at the beginning of season eight. However she will not die. The plan is to end the series with season ten. Soooo you never know. ;)
If last week is anything to go by—
don’t expect any links to the final episode for three days!
I’m watching the 1st one, Bad Debts, right now. I should’ve watched the movies before I binged season 1 and 2 but no worries, it’s like a prequel now. So far, so good… I am sad Jack Irish is wrapping up though.
TKU
I downloaded season 1 and binge watched it over the weekend before I saw that there were the movies. I started to watch season 2 last night but there are only two different upload links listed for each episode and they are not ones that download easily. So I thought I would try the movies. Yes too bad season 3 will be the last.
Has anyone watched the 3 movies that preceded this TV series; Bad Debts, Black Tide & Dead Point?
my guess is the knife and the son.
My money is on the son also; but the twist would be if it is his sister.
Well that was interesting. Is he dead, and if so how? By his own hand or someone elses? There are certainly enough candidates!
‘And they lived happily ever after’. Should I bother watching now? Thanks for the spoiler on the last episode. I shoulda known better then to look down here before watching.

Oh, this has just got to be the set-up for a second season! What a great duo these two are together. This was a winner from the first episode to the last.
Can anyone suggest a site for Turkish subs? I found English on Subscene but not Turkish.
Thanks
This goes from oh no, to funny then really rough by the end of it.

This companion piece to Godfather of Harlem is an informative reminder that 60 years later the struggle continues. It is an eyeopener to the induring musical and artistic talent birthed in Harlem. Well worth a watch, even if you are not a fan of Godfather of Harlem (but you should be!)
