Well poop. I thought it would last.

We should all write in asking them to continue it. I bet a lot of people already have.
My great-grandmother was Cherokee and sadly, my maternal side of the family doesn’t acknowledge their great-grandmother/grandmother was Cherokee. Nor do they mention that Jesse James is related to them. In fact, I had a great uncle I knew nothing about until I did some research. My grandmother never mentioned her older brother. I asked a 2nd cousin about the uncle and all she would say was that he was the black sheep of the family. Which didn’t tell me much, but it had to be bad for whatever he did for my grandmother to never mentioning him. I don’t think my mother knew about him either since she never mentioned him. She was the type of mother who would have used him as a warming to not be bad. But she never did.
If you know your great-grandmother’s name, you can contact the Cherokee Nation and they will help you register with them, but you have to be able to prove the connection through documents like birth certificates, etc. I contacted them and gave them my Cherokee ancestor’s name, and they found it in their records, and the record of the marriage, because her husband (my family tie) was an Indian Agent at the time (1700s) and there was a record of him and his marriage to her. I can’t join the nation as a blood relative, becuse it’s not my direct line, but I can still participate as a relative by marriage.
A great series finale, but I wish it wasn’t coming to an end. I could watch another series of Alex kicking butt and taking names.
and there’s something about the lead actor - so charismatic
Yep, and I wonder if that’s really him singing? I’ve looked at his lips and don’t see any signs of lip syncing. ETA: Yes, it IS him singing! He actually won the X-factor when he was younger.
!
I thought this was a movie but looks like it is a series. I love any kind of movie or tv series about WWII. I didn’t get much out of the trailer because there is no dialogue, just music. Putting on my list to watch in November and you can’t go wrong with Hugh Laurie and Mark Ruffalo.
I got dialogue, but there is a narrator describing it like it’s a radio show. Does the narration continue in each episode? If so, it would drive me crazy.
Love this show! Got behind this year, and am catching up. Sue never ceases to amaze me!
Same. As played by Douglas Henshall, Jimmy Perez has a difficult pair of shoes to fill I think, but I’m certainly willing to watch them try.
Same. I can give it a shot, and maybe I’ll like it. I know sometimes with other shows, the main character left, but the new character turned out to be really good. I just don’t want ALL the old characters to be gone. That would be a no-go for me.
This is the worst adaptation to date.
Agree. It makes no sense at all. And I don’t like this Guinevere either. She’s too rough looking. I don’t know why I keep watching it. I probably won’t after this season, but I want to see how the season ends.
FYI: This series is based on the BBC radio Scandi noir Annika Strandhed with the location changed from Norway to Scotland. OK so all of you out there who were fans of The Unforgotten like me, this series is not like it at all. The writing is more light comedy than police procedural, the characters are dull and boring, but by far the most distracting and CHEESY thing is the constant breaking of the 4th wall (Walker addressing the camera with eye contact and what feels like a stand up comedy improv routine.) The Death by Harpoon “Get your point across” joke pretty much sums up what you can expect. Think I will pass.
I don’t like that she plays such a wussy character. She’s always played such strong characters, large and in charge. This doesn’t suit her, and the asides to the camera are just weird. Not sure I’ll continue to watch it.
Indeed, so many forget, without truckers, AMERICAN STOPS!! CB’s still RULE! They always got a signal!
I almost bought a CB the other day at a yard sale. It worked, too! He only wanted $25 for it. I was thinking it would be good for hurricanes when the cell phones and wifi go out.
shows like this and Movin’ On, movies like Smoky and the Bandit made trucking look so glamorous, people were lining up to mortgage everything they owned to buy a rig, then the truth hit, and they found out it wasn’t “like it was” in the movies
Trucker training schools BOOMED back in those days. Even young girls wanted to be truckers.
One of the best series I’ve seen in a long time. Slow start, but picks up rather quickly and has a great surprise ending. It needs a second season to let us find out what happens, who dies, who lives and are things forgiven? I’d definitely watch a Season 2.
Watching this on another site because I couldn’t find a way to make subtitles work. You’ll need them, because he speaks in a lot of different languages, so to really follow it, you have to have the subs. It reminds me of a detective show from the 60s, called Peter Gunn. I like it so far and will keep watching it.
Looks like this season is going to be really interesting. Can’t wait!
This kinda reminds me of the British show Unforgotten. I might watch the 1st episode.
Just watched the trailer, but yeah, Unforgotten with a psychopath who has a man chained in her basement. I’m gonna give it a try.
Just finished watching this series. I truly deserves a season 2. The ending says a lot, but we need to know what happens now.
The Christmas special is up now.

Tyler needs to go. He is one fucked up, violent, authoritarian dude. Let him go off somewhere else and start his place. He is insidiously taking over, because Patrick doesn’t want to lead, so he’s letting him. If Tyler is allowed to take over, The Garden will be a cult. We’ll see what happens, but Tyler scares the hell out of me.
This is so confusing at first, but it builds bit by bit until it all comes clear. I’d like to see a second series of this how.
It seems I started watching this, then just got lost. I don’t remember how far I got, so I’ll have to start all over.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you lived it you’ll love it, if you’re too young to have; watch, learn, enjoy! 😊
I lived it. It was the Age of Aquarius and all we wanted was peace and love.
“If you’re going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.”
Back in the day when living was cheap and life was worth celebrating. FLOWER POWER!
Idris Elba has done a couple of interviews recently where he was asked about the possibility of another Luther movie. “The chances are good. The chances are very good actually. I don’t want to make any exclusive announcements, but it’s looking good for old Johnny Boy,” he stated.
I would love it if they did one movie a year. I really love this show and this character.
On Season two now, but I just wanted to ask if anyone noticed that the last 5 notes of the theme song (before the show comes on) are the notes of “The Danger Zone” from Top Gun?
This was a weird episode. I like Luke’s story, but Lomax’s was too off the wall, and had no closure. What happened after they came out of the possession? Enquiring minds want to know! I was wondering when they were going to realize something was wrong with Susan and do something about it. Can’t wait until next week!
IMHO, I’m thinking this is going to be the prelude to a series that starts 15 years in the future, since all of the surviving characters are now 15 years older. We’ll get to see what happened to Faraway Downs without Drover, and if Nullah came back after his walkabout. Maybe Lady Ashley got married and found out she COULD have children. Maybe she had Drover’s child and it’s now a teenager. Who took over Carney, since the daughter and Fletcher are now dead? There are a lot of possibilities for a series, and I’d be up for it.
AYFKM?? What a horrible way for this season to end! AAAAGH!!!! i HATE CLIFFHANGERS!!!
I did not see that coming. I usually can figure out endings, but this was a total surprise. What can I say about the actors — they were just so believable and totally immersed in their characters. My only complaint is that there were so many of them, I couldn’t keep up with who was who sometimes. I really pray this has a second season. I know Kate is in high demand, but it would be so great to see where else Mare’s job and life take her.
Thanks, uploaders. It’s always nice to have so many choices up so fast. although I admit that I was so wrapped up in Lucifer today, that I totally forgot about Mare.
I only watched this one episode, but honestly, I think the turquoise was too trendy and they are going to get sick of it very quickly. The design was very nice, though. I sort of feel like Retta is just the “token fat black woman” in the presentation, because she basically stands there and does nothing. I don’t think I’ll watch it again.
Does anyone know the name of the woman who plays the grandmother in this episode? She’s not on any cast lists, but she’s so familiar.
Just started watching this, but I doubt I’ll watch Season 2. It’s really ridiculous how some of these people act.
This show can be so confusing sometime. Many’s the time I’ve had to go look back at the previous episode just to recall what they’re talking about. I have no idea why I’m so totally addicted to it.
Well, that was a surprise! Another sister? Maybe “sisterhood” doesn’t necessarily mean biological “sisters,” and the cousin will become one of the three? That would be nice. I wondered when she appeared what her role would be in the future. And Jordan! OMG! Please let him be a whitelighter so Harry won’t have that burden all on his own! And can we PLEASE find some more witches somewhere, or at least find a way to create more witches? They can’t all be gone. Can’t wait for next season.
I really am glad there are 6 more episodes to this, because this is a hell of a place to leave it.
I was not expecting that! Only one more episode to resolve this. Should be interesting.
Good episode. I like all the guys except the one that chases mountain lions. He just has no personality. I really like the Youren brothers. They are true mountain man. I wish Jason Hawk hadn’t left. I really liked him a lot, but the Kodiak guy is pretty cool too.
Just started watching this, and I’m already hooked. This will be my binge for the rest of the summer.
Stopped watching this because I couldn’t find a way to upload subtitles. Oh well. I don’t like so much violence anyway.
I can’t watch this. The dog’s drool is just too disgusting. It would probably be a good show otherwise.
Well, goodbye Angie and Shade…or is it? Seems like they left it on sort of a cliffhanger…maybe a movie, or maybe some other station will bring it back?
Just found this in someone’s playlist and it’s already scaring me to death! I’m on episode 5, and the closer it gets to the end, the scarier it gets. I don’t generally like scary stuff, or Stephen King, but this is so suspenseful with such interesting characters that I’m hooked.
The mother just gets fatter and fatter, while the kids do all the work, cooking, cleaning, laundry, everything. Seriously, WTF does she even do? I know she home schools, but how is everybody so skinny and she’s so big? Probably because she has so much regret over how she treats her own children that she’s emotional eating. Do you think she has any guilt? I mean, her oldest daughter got married and moved to another state, and you never even hear about her. Now Ethan is leaving the state. How many more of her kids does she have to lose completely before she realizes something is wrong with her?
AYFKM? So Olivia, who doesn’t like Kim because she’s too controlling, is like “If he doesn’t want to do what I want to do, I’m just going to move on and do what’s best for me.” No wonder she doesn’t like Kim. She acts just like her! It’s like in Ethan, she saw a man-child that she could control, and now that he doesn’t want to be controlled anymore, she’s just ready to walk away. So who is the immature one now?
I’m really into historic houses in the South and Louisiana is one of my favorite states. This house would be my dream house, honestly. I love what they did with it, and how they kept it true to its original charm.
Nope, not watching any more of this. I’m not crazy about vampire shows anyway, but killing Loa was just a road too far. I’m done.
I’m sorry to hear that you suffer from that illness, I am bipolar as well. More mania then depression but when I get depressed I become suicidal. Now if Amy is bipolar then they should know that sleep is very elusive and that she not just staying awake all night because she wants too. I wish I could reach out to help her in some way
It pisses me off that the whole tv crew is around here all the time, yet they don’t help her because they need the drama for tv. WTAF?? To let someone become that sick, possibly suicidal, and just keep filming it should be illegal.
