I agree with you on the religious aspect. Someone who is religious and/or apart of a conservative community depicted in this movie will relate more, but the emotional aspect of not being who you truly are is something that can be felt by anyone. I think this movie was ok, although I find myself being more curious on the aftermath more than the events leading up to the end. I did not like Rachel McAdams in this role…something about her did not convince me of the character she was playing. Other than that, I really liked the Dovid character and especially his development toward the end. I really felt his pain.

Yeah the “burbs” are supposed to be the place to relax away from the hustle of the city but take a closer look and you got yourself some serious dysfunctionality, interesting communal character study.

Is it safe anymore to have an opinion about these sorts of things, now that it is 1984 ? Rooney Mara is good in this, daring one in many scenes to read her mind. enjoy.

Pretty sappy (there’s even a little blind girl with a dog) specially at the end, Gary (the wooden man) Sinse in a romance, had to see it to believe it.

As a recovering addict this was a lot of things, not the least of which, being cringe! How does someone act the role of drug addict without ever having been one, takes a special kinda talent ? As for relating to this movie while watching it, depends on whatever your drug of choice was or is , that, i def found intriguing about the film !

Kinda boring but keep a close eye on that professor , googed Muti afterward and that took me to the national library of medicine and THEN i went down a rabbit hole on females homicides and forms of killing and it got real groosome … never know where ya endup with P.W. !

Prepare for a fair bit a cringe , but when followed up by humor , heck its not so bad. The MC knocks it out of the park so yeah well worth a watch !

Who would want a Parasite taking over their hand but surprisingly our MC works with the situation and the events that follow are at times quite amusing, def worth a watch.

Yeah if you like math even a little bit you will find this story quite amazing.

This is one of those films… its in my top 10 movies of all time, but this requires a follow up response, ART is in the eye of the beholder!

Well worth a watch, W cubed if you will, the girl in this is really good and the last line of the movie (which is spoken by her) is priceless…

Intriguing plot premise to start with but then cracks start to develop and the premises starts to fall apart and the final chapter migrates into a coyote / roadrunner cartoon.

The first part of the movie has captions but the translation to english is so bad they discontinue it for the remainder.
The story is basically a psychological analysis by the daughter of her transference issues between her and her mother regarding her father …. and this is where the mind becomes a circus in recollecting and dealing with events. Then the mother is left to sort the mess out and in the final scene you are left with the ridiculous solution.

Through watching this i learned that there is an affliction called Pervatitis . lol

Probly shoulda slammed 3 red bulls before watching this just to keep up….

E1 was pretty good , the art style is simple yet realistic. Some love stories are all about timing, or lack thereof, the viewers imagination becomes part of the story, it can be satisfying or heart wrenching.

There’s something about the doll, i mean Barbara … she’s kinda sweet eh.

Take the Equalizer and remake as a Thai school girl and you have Nanno, i was surprised at the lengths she will go to accomplish her goal. Deviously entertaining.

Hah, this dosnt even remotly quaify as a romance lol, the jungle is a hollywood set with lions and everything, the lead actress Wanda Mackay was quite the gal in her day. this is a nice simple little blast from the past, enjoy.
