I didn’t watch Walker, Texas Ranger but I’m willing to give this new drama a go.

I’m looking forward to season 2 which starts next week!The 3rd season of “A Discovery of Witches” jumps back 600 years and becomes a costume drama. Which should be interesting to say the least.

I never knew about this movie. I found it browsing IMDB murder mysteries and pulled it up here to watch. It’s a really good murder mystery movie - 2 hrs long but you don’t feel like it’s too long. Sean Connery and Christian Slater. This was a really good find and I’m glad I watched it. Thoroughly appreciated it. Enjoy!

Pedro Pascal……we know him as Mando…….Grugo’s protector…….aka…the Mandalorian!

This looks interesting and Nnamdi Asomugha is a former NFL player and one of a few who has turned to acting after hanging up the cleats. He learned how to play the saxophone for this movie. Plan on watching this over the holiday break.

I think there is some subtle imagery used in this series. Hear me out on this, every time I see the spaceship that Mando is now using (along with the other 2 people) looks like a Greek or Roman helmet. They both were fierce soldiers and the helmet did change over time. Maybe I’m the only one who sees this?

I just saw the trailer for this series and it is gonna be good! Can’t wait for it and it too is going on my list to watch! I think I even saw a nod to B.D. Cooper too………and good to see Owen Wilson again, I’ve always like him and I think his character is going to be a good one!

I just saw the trailer for this movie and it isn’t going to be the typical WWII movie to say the least. It will be released on January 14th and I’m putting it on my list to watch!

I see William B. Davis is in this drama playing the older Alec Sadler. Many of you may know him as the “Smoking Man” in the X-Files drama and in the X-Files, he played a creepy and shadowy character and he is once again at it in this drama too. So far, I’m liking this drama and will continue to watch all episodes and every season…..may take awhile, but I’ve got time! I’ve been working from home since mid-March and will continue to work from home in the new year too. Maybe by early summer I’ll be able to head back to campus and work from my office, until then, I shall be enjoying some more wonderful offerings here on primewire!

Holy S#%T!! I didn’t see that coming and what a cliffhanger!!!!

This is not a typical crime drama to say the least. I don’t think it could be labeled supernatural. A few of the convicts from Great Britian that were sent to Australia brought with them a different type of religion. Over the centuries it became a type of folklore that the locals talked about. A few still practice this religion on the island of Tasmania. Not sure if this drama is one of but if there is another season not sure what direction it will go. Odd, but intriguing and if you’re into mystical stuff, give it a go.

This movie would have been good if there were better actors in it! Where do they get these people?! They really ruined the movie and the only good actor was Ryan!

Two episodes is all we get until January 6th!?!? Why even start the season if we’re only going to get 2 episodes now! Same thing with Chicago Fire!

Poor Diana, she didn’t stand a chance at all! If it weren’t for her boys and divorce she probably would have followed through and killed herself. A complex beautiful lady for sure but all she wanted was the love of her husband! What a fool he was! Jealousy from Charles isn’t a surprise since he has the personality of a rock! Sorry to the Brits for my Charles comment but I think you know I’m right.

Did anyone notice that Bryce Dallas Howard directed this episode? In case you don’t know who she is, she is Ron Howard’s daughter.

Just saw a segment on CBS This morning about this movie and it looks interesting. It was shot in black and white and I think gives a movie more depth. Sure color is great but black and white works with this movie. Here is more info about this movie……Eventually, the project was officially announced in July 2019, and filming took place around Los Angeles from November 2019 to February 2020. Mank is scheduled to be released in a limited theatrical release on November 13, 2020, before beginning to stream on Netflix on December 4, 2020.

Well, you’ll never guess who popped up in this episode? Tom Ellis from Lucifer! Yup, a really baby faced Tom Ellis from 12 years ago. His part was rather short and…………and you’re wondering how I saw this episode without links aren’t you?

Of course I have a soft spot for Gil Gerard because he’s from my home state. I, too, watched this tv series and it was okay for the time. They didn’t have CGI or many of the other technologies that are used now to create spectacular images. Thanks to the success of Star Wars, a whole new type of drama was created but I feel it started with the original Star Trek series of the mid 1960’s. Gene Roddenberry was influenced by what to create this unique space drama? Man hadn’t landed on the moon yet and the cartoon The Jetsons hit the tv airwaves in 1962. Wouldn’t it be funny if Gene was inspired by the cartoon the Jetsons? I won’t mention Lost In Space….even though I watched it, it is so laughable now but look at what these shows did, it inspired production companies to create better space travel dramas and inspired so many to look up at the stars and daydream about what is out there in the deep corners of the universe!

This starts next Sunday and I shall give it a go. Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant, hmmmm……seeing Hugh doing a non-comedy should be interesting.

This arrives in late November and Diana Rigg is in this series. This is her last tv appearance and she had a part in a movie; Last Night in Soho which will be released in April of 2021. When this series start, I shall be watching.

Wow, a mixed bag of actors in this new drama adapted from a Stephen King novel. Not sure about Amber Heard and she is my LEAST favorite actor and maybe her acting has gotten better. I won’t go into my issue with her and Johnny Depp. Will give this a go when it arrives in December.

Oh look! It’s Liam in the same movie again. I KNOW he has more nuanced actor skills, sure wish they would cast him in something that could utilize them. I love him, so I will watch…. just sayin.

Some unexpected people in this movie….Val Kilmer, Johnathan Rys Meyers, Christopher Plummer, and Jared Leto. Just started the movie and it’s over 3 hours long…..thank goodness for the pause button……

If you love CSI as much as I did/have, then get ready for a limited CSI series! It was suppose to air on October 6, 2020 but due to COVID-19, it has been pushed back. CSI first aired on October 6, 2000 and spawned a couple of spin offs but none were as good as the original CSI. No new release date has been given, but stay tuned!

One thing I’ve noticed in the 2018 series and this 1985 series, the music! Very foreboding (Ahnung), dark, pensive music. Of course this was a dark time all around the world and count on the Germans have this dark, pensive foreboding music in the background. It’s rather haunting.

This mini series sounds good and the 3rd installment of the Band of Brothers and The Pacific set of World War II miniseries. Still no release date though. I will be looking forward to this one!

I love it when I catch a blooper! And good know it happens in other countries too. There is supposed to be a piece of potato on his fork and magically it has disappeared and no, he didn’t eat it either.

I’ve always liked Ethan Hawke and Wesley Snipes and will put this movie on my list to watch.

I usually don’t watch movies/tv series that have subtitles, but I knew this series would be good! I’m a huge fan of WWII movies/tv series and I like to see how other countries depict WWII. I was curious to see how a former axis country would depict their role in WWII. Not sure how factual this drama is in their depiction but it is interesting to say the least.

Well, that first episode was interesting and not all what I expected! I will continue to watch and see how this plays out.

I love Sean Bean and who could resist Kit Harrington? Carrie-Ann Moss is also in the movie…..another one going on my list to watch.

Attention all Peaky Blinder fans, Cillian Murphy is in this movie from 2002! I’ll have to put this on my list to watch too.

Brad Pitt was in this movie after he did Thelma & Louise? Just might have to make time to watch this movie. He was still a little green in T & L and I’d like to see if he’s found his acting chops yet.

Paul WS Anderson and Milla Jovovich have been married for a few decades I think. I honestly believe (besides just he likes sexy ladies in tight leather and skirts) there’s a bit of an exhibition aspect where he appreciates the opportunity to have $50,000 wardrobes of sexy clothes tailored for his wife.

I’ve watched all of the Resident Evil movies and for the life of me, I don’t know why the director always has Alice and other females in skimpy dresses! Seriously? The story line always has her fighting etc so why not put her in something more feasible or suitable for those fight scenes! She’s not going to a club or the opera for goodness sake!

Wasn’t a bad little movie! I actually enjoyed it! Now I have this urge to make up a survival list of items I will need if such a thing like this were to happen! Now if there is a zombie apocalypse, I’ve seen enough tv shows and movies to know what to do and would combine the 2 list. 😁😁😁😁😁😁 I’m always thinking ahead and prepared too! 😁😁😁😁😁😁

I learned something I didn’t know! Robert Glenister and Philip Glenister are BROTHERS! Robert is the older of the 2 and both are fine, fine actors!

That is 94 minutes I wish I could get back! Was a total waste of my time!
