I never watched this show while it was running, but I had no shows schedule for this weekend, so I decided to give it a try. All I can say is WOW! Been binging on it since Friday night, watched the whole first season yesterday, and couldn’t wait to wake up today to watch more.

Another new movie to put on my list. Thank goodness I have 3 weeks of vacation that I’ll take over the next three months because my ever-growing list of stuff I want to watch is getting out of control.
I’m old. I’ll be dead and gone before I finish my want to watch list, while still keeping up with my current shows.
Yes! But there’s more! ‘TRUTH is the Illuminati operates a secret faction of conspiracy theorists organized to focus attention on movies which as this one are rated 0% on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s important work and the reason I’m here! :-)
Some genealogist somewhere (name unknown) found that all of the illuminati and members of the Bilderburg group are descended from Egyptian royalty. Funny, since most of them are white as snow. The things people come up with…
A lot like Britannica, which I was addicted to and missed like hell after it was gone. The same sort of chaos and having to figure out who some people are because they are never really introduced, and they have different names than in the original Arthurian legends, but I like it a lot. It will be hard to wait another week to see it again.
I love Joanne Froggatt so much, but why does she always have to play the victim? Yes, she always wins in the end, but why can’t she be a strong woman, like a lawyer or doctor or a superhero? This typecasting is getting old for such an amazing actress.
That happened a week before my 18th birthday. (Yes, I’m old). I grew up during Viet Nam, and had already lost two friends killed in the war. Lost more who came home so messed up they killed themselves. We grew up with news video of them dragging bodies out of the jungle every night. We were so traumatized. That’s why they didn’t have live battle coverage of the first Iraq war, because they had promised they would never traumatize a generation like that again. Viet Nam is also why they stopped the draft. Kids who weren’t even old enough to drink (legal age even for beer was 21) were getting killed.
I remember Kent State like it was yesterday. I came in from school and it was all over the t.v. No cell phones then, no social media. I remember watching and falling on the floor screaming and crying. My mom came in and held me. She said “I meant to turn the t.v. off. I’m so sorry.” I remember the sign they hung from the dormitory windows that said “They can’t kill us all.” It was one of the worst things that ever happened in my lifetiime.
Man, this flying by the seat of your pants captaining style is heart stopping sometimes! This is definitely the most exciting Star Trek ever. Did you see the Tribble? I laughed my ass off.
One of the most disturbing things I’ve noticed about preppers is that most of them actually seem to hope that something bad happens and that points strongly to the likelihood that they have some variety of anti-social personality disorder.
Oh, they are all disturbed, but some things they say make sense. I live in hurricane country, so preparedness is nothing new to me.
There actually WAS life before all this technology, you know. PCs didn’t come into the public market until the ‘80s. I know, because I had one of the first ones out — and boy was it expensive! The PC and printer together cost almost $5,000 and it did barely anything.
I can’t get into this show. It’s a little too off the wall for me. I don’t understand how desperate Kate Winslet would have to be for work to take this show. But for those who like it, more power to you.
This show is the most fun I’ve had since ‘Buffy.’ Islamic fire demons! Awesome!
1st episode I didn’t watch all the way through, I had flashbacks from being forced to watch Sound of Music as a child
chump change, i’m over 1500 on my plan to watch/watching/on hold (till next season) list and that dosen’t include movies lmao
And more good stuff comes out or is uploaded every season! You can never catch up.
This is a really cute show. If you like watching things that are silly and have no deep meaning, give it a try. I get tired of watching cop/detective shows and monster shows, and something like this really gives me a break.
Just started watching this. The first episode had a slow start, but the story built well, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m sure future episodes will be much better, now that the basics are out of the way.
What the hell was that? I’ve never seen anything this stupid. They need to get new writers.
I got mine. You got yours? Well, ifn you don’t then you can’t have mine.
Seriously though, I had to look it up, and then I laughed and laughed. It’s hilarious that someone actually believe that to the point of ripping this film apart based on what is really nothing more than a badly formed conspiracy theory with a fancy name.
I’ve been very interested in studying the prepper community, and they are dead serious. And you know what they collect besides the essentials? Weapons, especially guns, to protect their hoard. Prepper world is very scary.
Oh I know it is, and that they are. I cannot help but wonder what other parts of their lives are left so unfulfilled that they do this and become Kevin Bacon?
It’s paranoia and a power play. They will have power over those who did not prepare because they will need what the preppers have. It’s people who feel meaningless in their lives. Some of them are quite wealthy, too. They build huge underground bunkers. It reminds me of the 1950s when everyone was building nuclear bomb shelters in their back yards.
I cannot wait for this! This is sort of like The Changeling, but in outer space. Love this kind of show.
OMG - the crosses! WTF is that about? And the maps! Kristen is in real trouble, I think.
This is sort of like Avatar meets the Matrix in Westworld. Damn! I love this show! Been binging it all day, and will probably finish it up tonight. Does Flynne remind anyone of a young Anna Paquin in True Blood?
Wait — wasn’t a world without technology the theme of Dark Angel many years ago? I would almost be happy if the internet went down. It’s so addictive and such a time suck. Just in case, I’ve been hoarding ebooks, real books, and magazines for entertainment when this inevitably happens.
The world is there in utter chaos. And we are all still coasting as everything is normal. How big a slap in the face before we all wake up.
I can’t remember who it was, but someone once said that technology was Satan’s way of destroying the world. We’re all so busy on social media and all other media, we can’t really see what’s going on around us.
I don’t know why the critics were so harsh about this movie. It’s a beautiful love story, and Johnny Depp is the perfect person for the part, since Louis XV didn’t care what anyone thought, and neither does Johnny. I loved this movie.
WHOA!!! I was not expecting THAT!! I’m glad I kept watching it. This definitely changes everything.
I laughed, I cried, and at the end I smiled. All is well on earth, in heaven and hell. Goodbye to the most interesting and unforgettable cast of characters I may ever see again. I’ll miss you a lot. Some shows just never can be replaced.
Didn’t want to watch this at all, but had nothing else to do, so I did. Not a total waste, but a little stupid at times. I definitely wouldn’t watch it again, or “go pink” like so many women are doing.
I hate cliffhangers like this! I’ll be going crazy until we see what happens next season.
Yeah. He did not undetstand that putting a 357, loaded with blanks, up to ur temple and pulling trigger, amounted to killing urself. I was about 11 when it happened. Great show.
I remember that so clearly. I couldn’t believe someone would be that ignorant.
Now it’s getting interesting. I can see a few ways that this can go. I just want to see the wicked queen gone, one way or the other, but her recent actions almost guarantee that won’t happen. This season started off boring, but it sure has livened up.
I’m probably lucky that I was only a child during the late 60’s and early 70’s as I’ve always been pretty militant minded and firmly believe that power is never willingly relinquished, but instead must be taken by force. Even then it is rarely of little use, but I understand the anger and frustration that leads to violent protest and civil unrest.
Power is a drug. It won’t be given up voluntarily, it has to be stripped away.
I need to rewatch this series. It was a “must watch” for me when it was on. I was sad the Ellen Muth quit acting. She was quite talented.
I’m a bit behind on episodes this year, but I would gladly go help in that botanical garden for room and board. Seriously, that place is amazing!
Interesting how they changed the way Arthur met Guinevere. She’s nothing like what I thought she would be.
finally getting around to watching this, it’s pretty good. I’m just soooo glad they didn’t add a laugh track as they are very annoying. On to episode 2 :)
Actually, there are plenty of songs protesting police violence and social injustice. A Rolling Stones article from 2016 entitled Songs of Black Lives Matter: 22 New Protest Anthems is but the tip of the iceberg. Many, many more have been written since then. This Land by Gary Clark Jr. is a powerful message about his own experiences. I could guess why it is that your perception is that black artists aren’t writing about these issues and no, none of my guesses would be blaming you or condemning you in any way. Instead, I’ll leave it to you ponder the question. Peace.
Honestly, I don’t like rap, and I know there are probably a lot of rap protest songs, but I just don’t hear them. Sorry. I used to like rap back in the day when it was about making yourself and your life better and helping other people. Then it got to be about hos and bros and drugs and violence, so I don’t listen to it anymore. Sad. I’m sure there are a lot of very meaningful rap songs, but some bad apples spoiled it for me.
I read all of these books, in fact all the Anne Rice books, way back when they first came out. It was so long ago, I didn’t even remember Lasher, but I didn’t like the way he was portrayed in this series. Not quite ominous enough.
Like it, good ending; really like Clarke Gregg’s storyline through the series. Left it open to have a second season if they wanted, with a more competent villain waiting them.
Sometimes being competent is trumped by being without a conscience.
It’s not bad, but before it’s over, Stabler MUST at least have sex with Liv. Seriously, this is the only reason I’m watching both of these now.
Wow. Action packed episode, with a surprise ending. I’m liking this better and better.
What an ending! Who is dead? How did they get Lindy’s notebook? Can’t wait for next season!
Wow. Best series ending I’ve seen in a long, long time. I’m going to watch the last part again.
Absolutely loving this show. One of the more original tv shows that is addictive, intriguing and draws you in. I look forward to each episode and it’s unfolding.
The way this ended, it leaves hope for another series of Luther, or at least another movie. This was a good one, for sure.
This is getting a lot more interesting now. It’s much darker than many of the other versions. And that sword!
If you like sweet, funny and sometimes spooky shows, this one is for you. This is more than just a witch story, it’s a story about family, friendship and community…with a little magic thrown in. Great characters, great stories. There are lots of movies too.
I love the chemistry the cast has with each other. The repartee.
I love this show. A perfect blend of personalities, comedy and adventure.
Eva green is remarkable in EVERYTHING she does.
You can binge it every few years and STILL love it.
First time tho uuuuh I’m jealous
I am loving how they meld all the characters out of dozens of books and stories into one period of time and have them interact with each other. GENIUS! PURE GENIUS!! Yeah, I have some series I watch again. This is definitely going onto my “on hold” list when I’m done for future viewing.
