I have NEVER been a fan of David Tennant but he does absolutely excel in the absurd. His interpretation of Crowley exemplifies this; both in attitude and demeanor, he is spot on. If you do enjoy fanciful absurdity, ‘’Good Omens’’ is a must see . . .
Annabella's comments
Always liked black & white as film medium, now I’m reminded why. Great story, but more than that, the choice of black & white to tell it adds so much depth & texture to the Atmosphere - one of the most important, if not the most important “character” of the show.
Watch it for the story, it’s good.
Immerse yourself in the cinematography, it’s amazing . . .
Sumptuous execution ! I will not venture to vouch for the exactitude of the facts, but the precision and remarkable care given to all that is clothing, furniture and decorative minutia of its self makes this well worth the watch . . .
I’m looking forward to seeing season 2 because it seems that “…filming halted in March 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In January 2021 it was confirmed that a second series had been ordered, with series one to restart shooting in February 2021, with both series being filmed back to back…”
If you like costume drama and, moreover, mysteries, this should not disappoint.
BBC, thank you once again…
I’ve watched only the first episode. Technically it’s a good show. The plot seems interesting, also the visual effects are good too. My problem is only about the miscasting of main characters. They are not charismatic at all. They look too average. Right after finishing watching the first episode I wasn’t able to remember them at all. I remember perfectly the cast of any show with good cast. But not this one. Despite being technically good, I just can’t watch it because of miscast.
…agree, it also has a tendency to be quite repetitive - none of the episodes really stand out from the others, very evident on a binge-watch.
End of Ep.21 S.6: I really like the new possibilities opened up at the end of this episode; looking forward to their development!!
There are subtitles available for this show ON THIS SITE. Not all hosts will have the ability to add subtitles to the player. Thats why I suggested dood for this example, (some of the other hosts will work for adding subtitles as well).
Follow the directions in the FAQ’s section. (you will find it under the chatbox)
https://www.primewire.li/faq Here is a quick synopsis from the FAQ’s page of how to download and add subtitles.
If you click on the word /number of the dood(dot)watch link above, the dood video player will open up. Under the bottom left of the screen that opens up you will see a tab that reads “subtitle”. Click on that and it opens a dropdown window with subs for many different languages. Hit Retrieve / Then download whatever language subtitle you wish. Add the subtitle to the player like you would with any subtitle. Through the Closed Captioning found in the settings of the player.

Many thanks YKJack, didn’t realize this feature existed. Have been retrieving the subs of the net. This will save so much time - once again, thank you… =)

…it’s all self explanatory. Why bother them with such trivialities? But if you feel the matter warrants it, please feel free to do so…
Very good…
Lots of the cast from “Berlin Station”.
Looking forward to the rest.
Stunningly filmed ! Nighy, poignantly human, with all the strengths and frailties that entails. A touching, deeply moving film - a masterpiece…
Perhaps a little dated & without a doubt ott camp but still one of my all time favorite comedy spoofs!!!
This was great! I’ve watched this countless times in the past but this time I saw the longest version ever; loads of scenes I never knew existed. I watched the Vidoza version… no guarantee it’ll still be around but, if you do get the chance to watch the full version, it’s pretty darn good!
Back in June of ‘22 this was published on “Collider” . . .
“According to Variety, the show has been given an extended renewal for Seasons 3 and 4, and all we’ve seen so far is a debut season that ran for six episodes. Based on the books by Mick Herron, Slow Horses had initially been given a two-season order. The double-season renewal is a sign of great confidence in the show, and perhaps an overeager move to lock down the services of its Oscar-winning star, Gary Oldman.”
“In the third season, Lamb’s disgraced spies must work together when one of their own is kidnapped, while a rogue agent is on the loose. The fourth season reportedly deals with a bombing that threatens to rock the very foundations of Slough House. Saul Metzstein is set to direct the third season, though no director for the fourth season has been announced. James Hawes directed Season 1, and Jeremy Lovering directs the second season premiering later this year. “
. . . from what I’ve been able to glean from the net, this has held true. Seasons 3 & 4 were shot back to back and Oldman stars in both. Perhaps there’s contradictory information out there that I haven’t seen but I sure hope not as this is SUCH a very GOOD show.
WOW! This is cool… wasn’t expecting this. Almost a 2hr movie.Quite a treat. ENJOY!
An intriguing first episode as we got a mix of what we saw in Hawkeye plus the new story from this series. Only issue I had was on doodwatch there were no subtitles for the sign language. Maybe on another site? We had that with Hawkeye, but not with this first episode. You can kind of get the meaning, but not the exact nature of the conversation. I was anticipating this series and it didn’t disappoint for a first eppy. Was nice to see her origins and for her to go back to them. What a great story for Alaqua to go from working at Amazon/FedEx to being a star of the MCU. Love it.
WoW! This film is amazingly good. The stellar cast & acting, the flawless period representation, writing, directing AND the fascinating subject matter make this film a joy to watch. Film at it’s very best! I like it…
This is actually a very good film. It hasn’t aged too badly, the story-line is simple yet compelling & the acting is none too shabby. If you’ve never watched “It” & have an afternoon to idle away, get a bowl of your favorite comfort food, turn the lights down low, get nice & comfy and… enjoy!
Got yourself a baby-faced Anthony Quinn in here if you can spot him… Mercy! He’s sooo young!
Man! The Dude had gravitas, you know? Totally bummed…
Love this show…
Totally agree starshineontop… Very well done, very watchable… this was wonderfully enjoyable!
Most enjoyable thing I have watched in yonks… Verry long time that I actually looked forward to “…next week.” Next Season? Man - that’s gonna be a looong week!
—-many thanks; that mumbling in the back-ground was driving me ‘round the twist!!!
Huh…, that was different.
Wonder how long they can keep this up?
Reminds me of Pennyworth - if you watch it, I think you’ll see what I mean…
Know the story of Cary/Archie and this is pretty darn accurate. If you like Cary Grant, this is a must see.
Jason Isaacs is jaw dropping in this; always liked him but didn’t realize just how very good he was. Isaacs is amazing as Grant . . .
