Now that’s how you do a show, or an episode! I almost lifted off my chair with excitement, nervousness, wondering, etc. I don’t wanna spoil anything. Just wanna say this show is awesome and epic!

Though, I have to admit that I am also very sad that this’ll be it for the season. 😢😢 So… I hope they film and release season 2 ASAHP! (Too funny… I’m already wanting the next season to “get here already!” and I have yet to watch the last episode of this season! LOL) I think I may like this series, juuussst a’lil-bit! Hehehe

Another good episode!

This episode was interesting/intriguing, at times a bit perplexing, in a few ways also sort of obvious but most of all CREEPY as all get out!!! Lol. And that’s saying something since several parts of several other episodes I thought were creepy as well… But this one really gave me the creeps, hebbie-jeebies, whim-whams, etc. Lol

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a show that keeps me on my toes, keeps me guessing like this one has. I won’t get into details at this moment bc right now it is time for the next one! Episode 9 here we go! Lol

I’m so happy Shetland is back. It’s a rich, well-written, well-acted drama that has followed a cast of interesting and accessible characters for many years, via criminal cases and personal drama. Each season brings us back to what, by now, is a group of our “old friends” almost - and we can’t wait to see how they are at this point in their lives. The gorgeous locale is a star in its own right, just jaw-dropping green spaces beside immense deep-blue seas. Since the show has been on hiatus, I find that I have to re-learn the English-but-heavily-accented dialect all over again LOL but I don’t mind at all. This is an excellent show.

WOOOOOT! Awesome start to the new season! I absolutely love this show! And this epsiode did a great job reintroducing the characters to where we had left them. It’s only gonna get better from here I can feel it! And the last scene hahahahahaha Plus the music is paired so well with the scene(s) rotflbo

Great story, great cast. One of Luc Besson’ best. This is the movie that introduced me to Jean Reno and Gary Oldman. Am a fan of the both of them. Hats off to a very young Natalie Portman as well.

Such a great epsiode!
I mean it is Nova, so no big suprise there. lol ;) :P

Science and the medical field are not always the fastest when it comes to advancements. But some of the progress they have made recently, particularly with prosthetics, is truly remarkable.

The best thing about this movie was the trailer. I did not enjoy this at all. It had such potential but was a major let down. Other than the male lead, the acting was atrocious. And the dialogue was obvious and heavy handed to the point that it was just bad. The storyline and plot could have been done so much better… it’s almost like they skipped parts and then drug out other parts that didn’t need to be. The way the story was told was just not done well at all, imho. The idea(s), message and or overtone of the movie was so obvious, overdone, and beyond cliche that the message hmmm how to say this politely… they could’ve just put up a sign and not bothered with a movie. I was quite disappointed. The graphics were great, just too bad it was wasted on this. Smh. This is my first 1/5 star rating in a long time. If I could add a decimal place, I’d prolly rate this a 1.5 out 5- only bc of the male lead, graphics and what I believe to be the intention of the storyline. But that’s so low for a rating from me. One word, disappointing.

I really love this series. I also really liked the original movie. And I’ve read several comments from people who think that the movie was absolutely better than this series and I can completely understand where they’re coming from. And in a way, I agree. But also, I think that the series differs from the movie enough so that for me, I look at it as a separate story, independent from the movie, and therefore not really comparable. In other words, comparing this to the movie is like tying to compare apples to oranges; Yes both fruit lol, even cousins sorta… yet different species entirely. Hehe. So I totally get and agree that the movie was awesome— new/original idea and story, and that this series isn’t as good as the movie. But I think that looking at this series as a new idea and story and not looking at this as a sequel, reboot kind of series, that on its own… I think it’s awesome! Fun and intriguing story and subplots, interesting characters, extremely awesome mini or condensed worlds in each sections/cars, very interesting fashion, music, alternate world history, and etc…!!! I think this series has a lot to share and I’m super excited to learn more about the story, characters and the world in which they live!!! I have no idea if this series will live up to the hype I’ve just given it hahaha but I am hopeful it will come through and serve up some good cinema! Either way, I’ll find out soon! Only 4 days to go until season 2 begins!!! Dun dun DUHNNNN! Hehehe

Still one of my top fav films. It is such a classic. I could write a novel of a review, but better to let others decide for themselves I think. Over the years, I’ve gone back and forth, liking and not liking the different versions, (directors cut, theatrical release, special edition, etc.) But regardless of the version, it’s top notch. I’d say anyone who likes movies should at least watch it once.

I cannot wait to see the third episode!!! This is such a great mini-series!

It was a fantastic start!! The scenery/locations, dialog, accents, wardrobe, fight scenes, cinematography, etc., ALL of it was great!! :) two thumbs up! 5/5 stars! I am too excited and need to process it a bit more before I share/write more. Lol happy dance!
