Tyler Perry’s writing is absolute shite. Everything I’ve seen so far seems like a “film school” experiment. How TF is this man so successful when his shows are such crap? Case in point the abysmal Too Close To Home. Clearly his demographic audience can’t be this gullible. Madea may have put him on the map but since creating his own studio and production company he’s proven it’s quantity over quality and it shows.

What a great show. Absolutely love seeing each potter’s creativity come to life in clay.

the Rudy Giuliani reference was just as hilarious as the real thing

I’m really starting to believe Harry and his side to the story behind this horribly dysfunctional family and the whole British monarchy. Granted this is an interpretation of their story and lots of dramatic liberty has gone into the writing but seeing how cold and calculated the Queen and Prince Phillip were makes me wonder if he’s been right all along.

This show is a perfect example why there is absolutely nothing funny about Stephen Mulhern except his belief that he is actually funny.

I found this very boring and tedious to watch, especially that fake accent from John Malkovich and his “phoned in” performance or lack thereof.

Wow, that’s a lot of “celebrities” desperate to stay current and in the public eye. If your thirst to remain relevant is the goal, then volunteer rebuilding houses for people less fortunate than you. This show reminds me of the old jello molds of the 50’s and 60’s….
make it once for a laugh, but no one will want to see it again!

As I was watching the opening credits, I noticed that Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are executive producers. So, I assume this was for the 1st season or have they been executive producers for all 4 seasons? Oh, Jodie Foster is an executive producer for this current season.

Although I did happen to like the movie “Alex Cross” that came out several years ago…it was a failed attempt to re-start/re-boot the Alex Cross franchise which Morgan Freeman was in and played an older version of Detective Cross back in the 90ies era

That was the best ending I could have hoped for this shite show. Luckily it’s only a mini-series and hopefully won’t be getting a second season! Regardless of the horrendous writing I do believe Bryan Cranston deserves his Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor.
