Perfect lockdown material for the UK! It may have been small in budget but it was huge in the science fiction imagination of the 1970s. As the creators have stated in past interviews, because it was made for ‘children’, the ITV censors and controllers pretty much left them alone, free to add their own left-leaning radical and subversive ideas.
Of course as a youngster watching it at the time, I was only dimly aware of its subversive undercurrent but as an adult who has re-watched it over the years, I marvel at the imagination, creativity and radical approach to children’s TV by the creators.

So in the fight @ the end. Why the surprise the enemy have weaponry,he uses the shield as a weapon. & I can’t understand why the surprise when someone dies in a fight with super soldiers or why they run away instead of stabbing in the neck as he stared into his dead lovers eyes.

I know from experience (requesting links myself and waiting for other requests to be filled) that uploaders/link sharers do upload and post links as soon as they can. And they do this, all as volunteers and in their spare time! We are super lucky! 🎉🤸♥️ The request lists can become very long or get back logged. Sometimes the videos are already posted or archived and the response is therefore super fast and sometimes, they have to… hunt down or go back and find when or how to the show/movie will play as to record the videos, occasionally hardcore subtitles, then encode and upload the files to each host site and finally then post the links here one by one, and etc., And that can/may take a bit… bc it’s a lot of work!!! I got tired just thinking about it while writing it! Haha lol! But as soon as it’s possible and they have the free time, they always, ALWAYS come through for all of us here on Primewire! 🎉🤸💃♥️
