RIP Suzanne Somers. You’ll forever be on Beverley’s bad side. </3

Mods are known to miss things here and there.

As far as you being interesting, we’ll be the judge of that.
Personally, I wouldn’t reply to your comments if they didn’t get my attention, ergo, interesting. 🧐

Thank ye kindly.

Or you could just not post unapproved links. Haven’t you ever wondered why you don’t see them?
Besides, we wouldn’t get to read your interesting comments.

alexisbits 2 points 1 year ago.

Thanks, Alien. But I’m not that interesting. lol.
And I actually have seen news links. So I figured that if it’s a news-only site, it would be okay. Especially if it relates to a show or actor, which is part of discussing entertainment. And if there’s no doubt it’s a news article and not a video. Live and learn.

7 Deadly Sins (2019)
alexisbits 2 points 1 year ago.

I can’t believe a NEWS site is forbidden here. Grr, what happened?

alexisbits 2 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I can see if it’s a movie link or site that has links. But when it’s obviously a news site…. Guess maybe I should just give up on commenting and use this as the glorified TV Guide it is. :-/

RuPaul's Drag Race (2009) S15 E10
augusts1 3 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I really thought Loosey was far better in the challenge than Sasha & should have won (as much as I love Sasha). Although her runway outfit was pretty boring in comparison to Sasha’s or any of the other girls for that matter. So I guess Sasha was more consistent all around since she handled Charo fairly well despite it being chaotic.

Did you know Salina’s last name is a play on the abbreviation STD? I found that out in the comment section on youtube. I had no idea till then lol. Brilliant.

alexisbits 3 points 1 year ago.

I DIDN’T know that. But now I can see why. And I agree with your thoughts.

Thank you, I appreciate that but you might want to delete that so you don’t get muted for posting outside links.

Sasha and Loosey were incredible. I wasn’t surprised at the bottom two. And Salina EsTitties had every move down, so of course she stayed. Great episode.

So many easter eggs! “Wind Chill”, “Creepshow 2”, “The Shining” , “Evil Dead”, “Psycho”. . .

This is definitely one of those “gets better as it goes along” episodes.

Knock at the Cabin (2023)
alexisbits 2 points 1 year ago.

I went into this with very low expectations (it IS M. Night). But it wasn’t bad. Not worth more than one watch. But not bad. It’s original, at least.

It’s nice to see how Jazz has grown over the years. She looked so happy on her date with Erin. Glad to see that she didn’t let the death threat deter her too much.

Alone in his newly renovated home, facing an impossible deadline at work, Peter Weller faces a rat (whose size and color vary often). Slowly, he loses his mind. Great Psychological Thriller.

RuPaul's Drag Race (2009) S15 E9
augusts1 3 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

LOL yup I hear you & I’m old AF. So who was it that you met from the 1st season? This was a fun epi. Loved Ru’s performance and Spice’s exit will go down in RPDR herstory. I watched it 3 times, it was THAT funny! Also Sasha hands down won the Crystal Ball. TBH I’m really surprised she hasn’t done better. Then again, she came w/such a legacy , it would be hard for anyone to live up to. BTW, love our RPDR takeover in the featured comments section each week lol.

alexisbits 3 points 1 year ago.

I’ll PM.

Amazing episode.

RuPaul's Drag Race (2009) S15 E9
alexisbits 3 points 1 year ago.

Wow, 15 years! I met one of the Queens of the first season (THAT is a story!) and was hooked. But seeing it’s 15 years later. . . To quote Madonna, “Before you know, you’re feeling old”.

Food of the Gods II (1989)
alexisbits 1 points 1 year ago.

His “girl” rat Louise (who is apparently in heat) has some awful big balls. . . . I’m guessing someone overlooked that in casting. Overall, a fun watch. Even though it seems unrelated to the original movie.

Poker Face (2023) S1 E8
alexisbits 1 points 1 year ago.

Not bad. Not the best in the season. But not bad.

Willard (2003)
augusts1 2 points 1 year ago.

Yes it’s a movie that’s basically about the journey, not the ending result.

alexisbits 2 points 1 year ago.

Exactly. You know where it’s going, but you enjoy the ride anyway.

The Rats Are Coming! The Werewolves Are Here! (1972)

This movie is horrible! I try to find something good to say. Well, this movie is ONLY a little over an hour and a half. . .

Willard (2003)
Alien 2 points 1 year ago.

Got it. Then again, this is Crispin Glover.

alexisbits 3 points 1 year ago.

True. Crispin Glover is a bit. . . odd. But in a good way.

Mardi Gras Massacre (1978)

I usually watch this every year for Mardi Gras. Cheesy but fun.

Gothic Harvest (2019)
alexisbits 2 points 1 year ago.

Fun Mardi Gras movie!

Willard (2003)
Alien 1 points 1 year ago.

Jealousy. Just like people.

alexisbits 2 points 1 year ago.

Willard was the human. He hated Ben, though they never say why. All Ben wanted was love, the same as Socrates got. Ben’s motivation might have been jealousy, but Willard’s are another matter.

Willard (2003)
augusts1 2 points 1 year ago.

Entertaining movie although quite predictable. Crispin Glover is great in whatever he does & is so creepy & quirky.

alexisbits 3 points 1 year ago.

If you’ve seen the original, it’s definitely predictable. But still a fun watch. Crispin plays crazy quite well, though.

The Last of Us (2023) S1 E6
alexisbits 3 points 1 year ago.

Rutina went from “True Blood” all the way here. And she plays the part. Every time.

Willard (2003)
alexisbits 3 points 1 year ago.

A rare remake that surpasses the original. I love how they used Agouti and black for all the rats except Socrates and Ben, so they would stand out. Ben was a Giant African Pouched rat (the kind they use to sniff out landmines). I still don’t know why Willard hated Ben so much, all Ben wanted was the same love Socrates got.

Willard (1971)
alexisbits 1 points 1 year ago.

Rats are so smart!

Not a fan of the cliff hanger ending on this one.

Wolf Pack (2023) S1 E2
greyfur 1 points 1 year ago.

Good to know. I have not watched this at all yet, thought about it, but have been a bit busy with a lot of other things. Really cut my watching time a while back, have quite a few I guess I’m still watching sort of sporadically, but really kind of lost interest in most of the stuff I used to watch due to a lot of the changes that have been made in the shows.

Others were either ended or cancelled, or a few may or may not be coming back, so waiting to find out. That, and truth be told there are some things I think I’m just flat burned out on..😖

Might wait a bit, let this run its course for the first season, see if people like it enough to want a second season, then check it out, and maybe see if its worthy of a good binge, have not had one of those in a good while.

I understand ‘Terminal List’ is coming back for another season, with Pratt in it, supposed to be a season that is before the events of the season they had the first time around, and that was my last really good binge. Waiting hardcore for that to come out…

alexisbits 2 points 1 year ago.

greyfur - I understand losing interest and cutting back on show. Done that myself. A lot of shows DO get canceled really fast, you’re right.

Will look up “Terminal List”.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Wolf Pack (2023) S1 E2
alexisbits 2 points 1 year ago.

I wasn’t sure about this show, so I gave it a second episode. It turned out to be a decent episode after all. I’ll keep watching, at least for now. Sarah Michelle Gellar is the “big draw”, and she plays her role well. But most of the cast is pretty good.

Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches (2023) S1 E6
CaptKSKS 2 points 1 year ago.

I never read the books (despite urgings from friends) I am really liking the story as it unfolds.

alexisbits 2 points 1 year ago.

The books are enjoyable, if a bit dated. But this show not only updates it, but takes it to whole new places while still remaining true to the core story. :-)

Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches (2023) S1 E6
alexisbits 3 points 1 year ago.

This show keeps building on the original story line. Well done!

Velma (2023) S1 E9

RuPaul's Drag Race (2009) S15 E7
augusts1 2 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

This wasn’t as funny as the 1st one last season. Mistress & Malaysia brought it though & were the standouts despite their beef. Mistress really played her cards right by offering to take over that role from Aura lol. I thought Spice did much better than the judges gave her credit though in the challenge but were spot on w/their critique of her runway presentation. She got Michelle back though when she retreated to the back of the stage LOL. Love the smartassery!

alexisbits 2 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

You could SEE how pissed Michelle was when Spice went to the back of the stage. lol. Mistress and Babydoll did work well together. And you’re right, that calculated move to take Aura’s role worked.

Agreed. Any type of LGBTQIA+ programming doesn’t seem to last long w/RPDR being the biggest exception.

alexisbits 2 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

There have been a few others. “Grace and Frankie”, “Will and Grace”, “Orange Is The New Black”. But as far as so called reality TV, RPDR and the Boulet Brothers have the market.

Poker Face (2023) S1 E6

Ellen Barkin and Tim Matthews work well together. Jameela Jamil’s character gave a few laughs as well.

Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches (2023) S1 E4

This show just gets better. It’s quite the departure from the novels, but the direction it takes works!

I was sad to see the news that they canceled this show. It was fun.
