After 5 episodes I cant stand Carlton and that’s a shame considering how likeable he was in the original show. I guess it’s more realistic tho with how someone would act threatening ones territory.

the original was sappy at times with trying to make everyone likeable.
Everyone isnt a set prop for Will. They have their own motivations and desires outside of him
garbage….horrible writing. they spent part of an episode focused on 2 groups fretting about where you use the bathroom and how to make a toilet. Why, when they go days without eating or drinking. They attack the undead by hitting them with sticks and bats in the torso and punching them? Train to busan was good because it only focused on action. The animated prequel was ok. Peninsula was garbage.
This series has way too many plot holes, bad decision making and just poor writing in general
CG so far is better than season 1. Which isnt saying too much season 1 was horrid. That and little things like cheap looking set props and costume design held it back from being a top tier series
I tried….this is horrible, 6 episodes in and I couldnt tell you a single persons name. Why? because I dont care. It might be a good set of books but the show runners have done a poor job of storytelling and engaging the viewer.
The performances arent very good, no true lead performers. Just an ensemble of bit actors no one that has a future as a lead in anything major. SFX is poor. Set designs are poor and costuming is poor.
People trying to compare this to GOT need to go back and rewatch
really good…anyone notice Butlers hands look like feet. he has huge hands but small fingers, it looks like he’s wearing mittens
everything was bad about this. Casting, acting, story, CGI were all a disaster
they have totally remade this movie a few times just under different names. the last one was In time with justin timberlake
if you like the show watch the movie the magician, where it all started
Youve never heard of smart zombies? Its a thing
zombies having sex and making kids?
it takes a special kind of stupid to like this garbage
In a good way?
no z nation was bad in a good way this is just bad. zombies taking hostages and having kids? nah
This was purely an impulse watch, as I’ve never played the game, but the show is beautiful to look at and interesting to follow. It’s fancy, but underneath that there seems to be (so far) an accessible story about finding one’s moral center in a sea of contradictory, even amoral, noise.
I get a strong whiff here of Robocop in a lot of ways; maybe that’s what’s going to keep me returning - along with the cool sci-fi-ness of it all:-) There are several people to root for here that should be fun to watch.
The arbiter’s(the alien that saw the master chief interact with the artifact in the cave) journey is one of my favorite story arcs in all video games
