That American woman w Bini from Ethiopia, what an FnB!! Thought so many times but just had to say after S3E10 at the end. I’d expect social media would have given her that message.

Hah! it’s actually back after a several year hiatus. The Melbourne ladies can be more fun than half the other RHO’s running.
maybe just my mood today but this didn’t really keep my interest. i just didn’t really care. Perhaps I’ve seen too many ‘seen across the way’ type flicks to give a fair chance, or perhaps for some of us it doesn’t reach the mark.
just watched this and the other revenge movie ‘Peppermint’ w Jennifer Garner and found them soo different. If you mainly want shoot up the perp’s go w the latter. As others have said, Carey Mulligan is great in this flick plus I preferred the make the perps afraid, cry, and beg over just killing them. Not my fave ending but I’ll not over-spoil.
It was okay..sometimes meh. Def 3/5 and not a 8.2/10 as stated
yeah, 8.2 my Axx - HaHa. OK, lay around w your buds watching this and you’ll hav drool dripping on you and unrelenting farts passing thru (ok, my pals are gassy) bc half will fall asleep on you b4 it ends.
Tho Jake G does ok, if i fast forward a few parts (and I did) it’s not a good sign. Except for that one about Charles Darwin and his lawyer Clarence Darrow (it’s famous but I forget the name), I’m also not usually a fan of the one man show style. Some will enjoy the tension building aspect; I didn’t
Hey, I can cry at commercials but this didn’t make me cry - maybe it’s just my mood tonight. Think I’m caring more about what I might make to eat right now. watchable flick; I just didn’t find it as melodramatic as some others.
I named my swordsmithing business Ravenmark Blades in homage to the heron mark blades in the books. Raven rather than heron because of a tattoo I have.
Rosamund Pike is a favorite of mine - will be interesting to se how she does with this role
14 books and they’re a great read. I really hope they’ve done it justice.
well, by nature screen adaptations will be different than the book reading experience. If one remembers that to start with they may not be so mad at the end of the movie. That said, this saga has GOT potential, in story, violence, torture, you name it.
Made me wish I had a nice Aes Sedai for a bodyguard…
a little better than average for a Lifetime evil/deadly cheerleader/nanny/twin/stepchild etc type movie. I’d recommend this one if you like that kinda thing.
classic lifetime-like predictable drama thriller of the cheerleader/nanny/ evil twin/stepmother/cheating spouse with secret past variety that so many of us have as little guilty pleasures. There are many worse than this one so go ahead if it’s your kinda thang.
Not that I was ever much of a fan but yeah, poor Helen. I’ll never be able to see this title with out thinking it should be ‘I see you - and now I must overt my eyes’ or ‘…and must turn away’ or ‘…and I screamed’ bc like others, I was so distracted by Helen’s face that I missed half the action and dialogue in her scenes. Def had surgery, bell’s palsy or not, add the makeup and lighting in this movie and it’s probably the biggest horror in the flick.
Its a game guys.. Who cares if they bulk up before they begin or sit around and not hunt. its about being smart enough to work out a game plan that takes all variables and advantages into account.. On the first episode of Survivor, the winner stayed nude most of the time because he knew the camera men wouldnt follow him around for footage. In that alone, naked time ..he managed to find idols and work out his game plan. Its all about winning the money and how they took advantage of the game rules. Most of these fools brag about being Master hunters in the starting episodes ..then we see them crying & starving by the end of the show. ~smh~
I get your point re: game prep/planning but to be accurate, there were no immunity idols the first ep of survivor or even the first few seasons. I think first year winner Hatch would’ve enjoyed the camera time. Don’t recall that he found idols off camera in later seasons, nude or not.
Re; whinging and crying, I give these folks a break - lt can’t be easy to thrive so long in the Arctic. Some are starving, the body breakdown real. Just b/c you agree to do something hard doesn’t mean there’s no emotional components to daily wins and loses. I’d be fine with viewing a little less of it though.
This show has always been firmly entrenched in the business of showing in full color the absolute absurdity and arbitrariness of the law and its practice in America, and this season is the paramount of all the legal lunacy leading up to it. Just enjoy the ride.
I was going to say something really heady about America and the pride of being a ‘land of laws’ juxtaposed with those absurdities but like Snaz said, just enjoy the ride.
Fun movie! I’ve watched this about 3x over the years. Tilly fills the role of Violet exuding the sensuality it demands while Gershon and Pantoliano are so well matched to play Corky and Caesar. This is lesbian hot, with mafia action, and just enough over the top to add humor. Christopher Meloni’s ‘Johnny’ may be a bit too much but otherwise it’s one of my favorites in a style not usually my bag.
I’m a Tim Hutton fan but had a hard time getting into this. Maybe I was too distracted or perhaps bc I’m not a big Eliza fan but I gave up after about 20 minutes. Yeah, I know it was imdb 5.2 but there are often fun movies in the 6’s - not this one.
the most redeeming quality of this film are the few informing lines at the end, that sex trafficking in the US is a multi billion $ horrid industry with over 700,000 victims experiencing the ordeal annually. Even though this is less than a B film imho I support the telling of this human abuse.
I absolutely love the “Dr. Beck” movies. “Stalked by my Doctor” is the first one. I think there are like 5 of these in the franchise now. Roberts is a crazy delight in all of them. (The first four have “Stalked” in the title, but the fifth is called “Just What the Doctor Ordered.”)
This is one of a few Lifetime movies I’ve watched in which I’d like to line up nearly every single character and slap them repeatedly until they pass out. Particularly one of them, and if you watch this, I’ll bet you can guess who I’m referring to. Ugh.
only ‘one of the few’? (chuckling)I feel that way for most of them. Seriously though, do you have any recommendations for Lifetimish thrillers/mysteries/suspense where ya don’t want to slap them all?
Kam looks so glamorous - too bad she perpetuates snotty pettiness and preferred ignorance when pertaining to Tiffany
meh - typical lifetime-like movie with sub par acting. That being said, if you share my guilty pleasure from evil twin/sister/nanny/stranger showing up to wreck another’s life film, this is a mediocre version.
hah! Unless there’s another by bthe same name, Kandi Burress from RHOA is acting in this - guess I’ll have to see how she does…
Have you watched previous seasons? If so, is this norm? This is my first time watching this version and I didn’t care for it as opposed to the other version. Could be wrong, but it feels like this one was more about ratings than really helping the couples along the way. They’ve allowed a lot of things that just made me not like the show, as much, as a whole
i seem to recall more intervention by the ‘experts’ along the way in earlier seasons. I prefer the Australi8an version where once a week all couples gather with the experts to review how their week transpired and offer advice on how to get back on track or how to further enrich their relationships.
I think Jean Smart has become an excellent actress over the years so I look forward to seeing her role in this. She’s aged gracefully and has come far from the sit-com (Designing Women)and tv movie years, really sinking her teeth into some dramatic roles. And for a Hollywood actress over 60, it’s tell-tale how busy her schedule.
I actually felt sorry for Mel up until a couple eps ago. See my other comments on this and you’ll see. That’s reason why I mentioned her only.
as you said, Mel made her bed so I too stopped ‘fretting’ for her. And yes, Bec is the type gal i dislike who use their attractiveness in various hurtful ways. Her repeated accusations against Jake made me cringe. So yeah, I was very pleased to see her get called out. Hopefully the shady and ugly on the inside thing learned something.
Confirmed Melissa knows Bryce is no good and chooses to stay. She made her own bed. I don’t even blame him
And how about Bec - all her dog with a bone antics continually laying on Bryce about infidelity. I figured something was up with her sneaky arrogant butt.
Ugh…like Gypsy said. I can like some dark, but I’ve got other ideas about retribution to please me than this offers. And yes this script surely can leave a woman and hopefully a man too angry at the societal norms portrayed. Can’t complain much about the acting, but I think those less empathic than me will like this more.
She plays one well here, too.
https://www.primewire.ag/movie/429196-watch-gone-girl
yes, another excellent performance by Pike there too and I’d rate Gone Girl higher than this movie
Love Dinklidge, love Rosamund Pike but I had trouble getting past the gaping plot holes of the premise. All in all though, a decent watch raised by Pike’s performance of a sociopath.
I cant be the only one who wants the rediculous agent keene to get a bullet in the head
I’ve not like Agent Keene and her attitude nor Megan Boone in the role since day 1; she frickin irritates me. It’s hard though not to appreciate Spader’s acting abilities, a curl of the lip, a minuscule twitch; he’s fun to watch (disclaimer - I’m only up to S5), tho I get the nostalgia for him in Boston Legal
has anyone watch this yet? I’d like to make an informed decision on weather or not to watch it. Thanks. Oh, and Have a wonderful Holiday, to everyone too
yellow rose, belatedly, I don’t think it’s worth the time. And I say that being a mystery/ thriller/ serial killer movie type of girl. Not completely unwatchable mind you, but so many better choices to spend ones’ time on.
a bit choppy in the story telling but nevertheless a story that needs to be heard and known. Tim Hutton as usual is great but yeah, he’s always been a crush.
I think this is one of the worst westerns I have ever watched. The dialog is so ridiculous the actors can’t even recite it with conviction. That includes Costner who wrote it. Robert Duvall tries his best, but at times he appears to be ready to bust out laughing at the lines he’s required to say. If you’re looking for a good “Tombstone style” movie to watch, this is far from it, 4/10
so Les, do you have any recommendations for those ‘looking for a good Tombstone style movie’? TY.
Don’t let the first episode fool you - keep going. This is in top 5 best ever series for a reason. See Noun X’s comment on the last ep of the final season. These characters will stay with you forever.
glad you commented - I tend to like these kind of shows and had never heard of this one
this would have been better with more Jennifer Tilly and Faye Dunaway and without the other part, but then it really wouldn’t have been this movie. The superior acting of those 2 ladies only highlighted the degree of inadequacy in other components of this flick. The end result is fair at best however worth a 1 time watch just for Dunaway and Tilly
wish i would have taken a few ideas from this to use on my cheater; there would have been more satisfaction
Even tho it frustrated me for a bit, I really did like this movie. Brosnan, Bello, and Butler did their usual decent performances. After the few minutes it takes for the story set up it rolls right thru to the end.
This show had promise but I just can’t take anymore of Jenna the worst chief stew I’ve ever seen on any of their shows. I’m done with this series and never looking back
funny, i think the blonde 3rd stew is a spoiled selfish brat - that’s the one that bugs me
I’m somehow drawn to bayou/deep south backdrops so it has that going for it and I think one of Basingers better acted parts. No academy awards here but basically a dang good B movie.
I wonder if I’ll ever see a horror or thriller story that isn’t about some “hot and pretty” young woman, who ends up being made completely helpless, scared for her life, and suffering, usually at the hands of a man. It’s so gratuitous. It’s like writers just can’t get enough of seeing women completely helpless, scared for their lives, and suffering. Can there please be a single horror or thriller that isn’t about this? (Incidentally, for those who are going to reply with “I don’t think she’s pretty/sexy,” that’s not the point. The point is that clearly effort had been made to depict a woman like that, as opposed to just using any woman of any age and any appearance).
hey blue, try elfie hopkins. It starts on slower side but ended up making me lmao. I’m not a huge horror fan (possibly related to your point) but i’ll always remember elfie https://www.primewire.li/movie/653530-watch-elfie-hopkins-cannibal-hunter
That American woman w Bini from Ethiopia, what an FnB!! Thought so many times but just had to say. And with a tiny apartment the ‘pack’ and play name suggests you’ll have ease in folding out of the way so if baby’s not around for a month…duh. She’s a manipulative unaccountable even mean spoiled brat freak
