It’s a musical. Peter Dinklage (who I enjoy as an actor) cannot sing. What else can I say? Haley Bennett has a gorgeous voice. But that and the classic story alone cannot hold this too long meandering mess together.

Stunning cinematography. It looked like a gelatin silver print come to life. Amazing performances from most of the cast, especially Kathryn Hunter (!!!), Bertie Carvel, Frances McDormand and Denzel Washington. If you can see it on the big screen, I highly recommend it!

I am huge fan of the original film. I didn’t really love this remake. I thought that the best scenes were any and all with Cate Blanchett going full on period noir. The scenes with her and Bradley Cooper on-screen together were the most electrifying and watchable. It was also about 40 minutes too long.

This show bring me pure joy each and every time. Three different people/groups/families come to a dog rescue each episode and are the staff tries to match them with one or two dogs. They get some one on one meet and greet time with the dog/dogs and then we see them “some time later…” at home and find out if they ended up adopting the dog and how it’s going. A great feel good docuseries with some wonderful pups eager for a second chance forever home.

Two episodes in and I’m really enjoying it so far. Kind of a prequel to Oliver Twist with an expanded universe from the orginal Dickens and some modern sensibilities thrown in. Great cast.

Hey, just noticed that someone else posted for this on another place for this show that episode 1 & 2 was a 2 part all wrapped into one episode in the first episode, was an extra long episode (first one), which is a true fact. I believe YK Jack also posted about the same thing confirming that, from the official site, that the first episode was a 2 part episode wrapped into one episode, so the second one was part of the first one.

From there it is supposed to go to episode 3. That would explain why they left out episode 2 on the other site as well, was all part of the first episode, then went right to episode 3.

I am really surprised by the low stars on this forum for this. Did the people who rated it actually watch any of the released episodes? If you did, what specifically made you rate it so low? I watched the first 2 eps and it’s a fascinating and engaging documentary series featuring young Australians, looking at the world around them and how they see things, with a focus on how they deal with racism and identity. What are the negative scores about?

First episode was fantastic. Looking forward to more.

This series is fantastic. So well done.

Still enjoy the show overall. Personally I like it better without Roseanne. It is one of the top rated comedies on all of television. So it’s not going anywhere for a while.
