Details:

We can usually expect an identity crisis at some stage in later life. Dancers notoriously experience premature crisis due to their inevitable used-by-date at an average of thirty years of age. Karen Pearlman was once a sensation in contemporary dance. Google her name and you’ll soon realize this American born firecracker was one incredible lady who broke down stereotypes while dancing on stage at nine months pregnant in a pink satin gown. So why is Karen now a self proclaimed retired dancer? Is that the price of academia? Or motherhood? How does she survive this premature identity crisis?
